To finish the Flower Dance, speak to Mayor Lewis and let the dance begin. When it ends, the festival is over and you return to your Farm at 10pm. On PC, if a “leave festival” confirmation box appears, press Y to confirm or N to cancel.

How to leave the Flower Dance

  1. Talk to Mayor Lewis at the festival to start the dance sequence. You do not need to have chosen a dance partner to ask Lewis to begin it.

  2. Let the dance finish. The festival ends afterward, and you are returned to the Farm at 10pm.

The available documentation does not specify a Flower Dance exit tile or route. On controller or mobile, use the control prompt shown in the game; mappings may differ or be remapped. The general controls reference does not list a Flower Dance-specific exit binding.

Where and when the event takes place

The Flower Dance is held on Spring 24. Enter Cindersap Forest between 9am and 2pm; the event area is in the forest’s far west, across the bridge south of the Wizard’s Tower. Homes and shops are locked during the festival. These event details are listed on the Flower Dance and festivals pages.

Why not use Exit Game?

Choosing Exit Game from the Player Menu is not the normal way to leave the festival. The Stardew Valley Wiki notes that on non-mobile versions, exiting during the day does not automatically save; reloading can discard that day’s progress. Use the festival dialogue or its in-game leave prompt instead. See the Player Menu reference.

If you cannot start the dance

Speak directly to Mayor Lewis to advance the event. Having enough hearts for a dance partner is a separate requirement: the Flower Dance page says a candidate needs four hearts to accept an invitation, but that condition does not prevent you from asking Lewis to start the dance.
