A floating pool speaker needs to do two separate things: withstand water and stay afloat. Check for an explicit float claim as well as a published water-resistance rating, then confirm the maker’s instructions match how you plan to use it. A Poolmaster 2026 catalog search result describes a floating Bluetooth speaker, but does not identify its model, so it is not enough to support a specific product recommendation.
What makes a speaker suitable for use in a pool?
Look for two distinct claims in the current manufacturer listing or instructions:
- Water resistance: A published rating such as IPX7 or IP67. The rating is not, by itself, a promise of suitability for every kind or duration of pool use.
- Buoyancy: An explicit statement that the speaker floats. Water resistance does not mean a speaker will remain on the surface.
A reviewed guide recommends checking for both an IP67 or IPX7 minimum and an explicit float statement. Treat that as a screening rule, not a universal guarantee: confirm the product’s stated conditions and care instructions before putting it in the water. Source guide

What does the available Poolmaster listing establish?
A Poolmaster 2026 catalog search result describes a waterproof floating Bluetooth speaker and labels it IPX7. It gives a manufacturer claim of submersion up to 3 feet for 1 hour. The result does not name the model, and the catalog item’s complete instructions and current availability are not established here. Do not rely on the catalog excerpt alone to identify or buy a particular speaker. Poolmaster 2026 catalog

How to choose a floating pool speaker
- Decide where you will listen. If you want audio while floating, require an explicit float claim; a speaker intended only for the pool deck may not stay on the surface. Pool listener discussion
- Check the water-resistance details. Read the current manufacturer listing and instructions, including the rating and any stated limits. Do not assume a rating covers prolonged immersion or every pool condition.
- Verify the exact model. Match the model name and product number on the listing to the manufacturer’s documentation. A category description or search excerpt is not enough to confirm the specifications of a particular item.
- Compare practical features only when documented. Check sound output, battery duration, Bluetooth behavior, and price on current manufacturer or retailer listings. These details are not established consistently across products by the available evidence.
Can you trust a “best” speaker ranking?
No comparative testing establishes a definitive best overall floating pool speaker here. A third-party search result describes the Soundcore Boom 2 as floatable and lists IPX7, 80W output, and claimed 24-hour playtime, but those product-specific claims were not independently confirmed from the manufacturer. Verify a current official listing before relying on them; they do not support a recommendation on their own. Third-party guide
For shopping searches, use the phrase floating waterproof Bluetooth pool speaker, then check that the specific listing confirms both buoyancy and water resistance. No current Amazon listing or exact Poolmaster model is verified here.
