CHOICE’s approximate dimensions differ in presentation from the installation manual’s configuration-specific measurements. For the DW60CHW/DW60CHPW configuration, the manual gives 598 mm overall width and 612 mm overall depth. It lists height as 850–870 mm with the top panel, or 820–840 mm with the panel removed, subject to foot adjustment. What should you check before installation?
Installation details can affect fit, drainage and operation. The family manual applies to DW60CH/CHP models; verify it against the rating plate and documentation for the particular appliance and market. The manual says the appliance rating label takes precedence if its electrical details differ from the manual. For the DW60CH/CHP family, it lists 10 A and 230–240 V/50 Hz, with water pressure of 0.03–1 MPa.

Drain connection requirements
- Separate waste or standpipe: The manual specifies a minimum 38 mm standpipe diameter and a height of 750 mm above the floor. Use the supplied drain hose support.
- Combined sink and dishwasher waste: Support the hose at bench height and ensure the drain spigot has a hole at least 15 mm in diameter.
- Waste disposal units: The manual says not to connect the dishwasher directly to a built-in waste disposal unit.
- Hose length: Keep the drain hose at or below 4 m; the manual warns that a longer hose reduces performance. Any extension should be new and match the fitted hose in quality and diameter.
The manual also calls for leveling the appliance, avoiding trapped hoses or power cord, and keeping the power outlet accessible. It describes the safety feature this way: “This dishwasher has anti-flood protection, which will stop the water flowing in the event of a leak within the machine.” This is a manufacturer-manual claim, not an independent test finding. Use a qualified installer where required by local rules.

Can you still identify replacement parts?
Yes, some part references can be identified, but that does not establish that they are currently in stock. Fisher & Paykel Australia’s spare-parts page lists drain hose support H0120200672 as suitable for the DW60CHPW1. Confirm both the part number and appliance model with the seller before ordering.
