The Fisher & Paykel DD60D4NX9 is a Series 9 Contemporary stainless-steel dishwasher with two independently operated drawers. Its listed capacity is 14 place settings in total, and its dimensions are 820–880 mm high, 599 mm wide and 573 mm deep. Those figures make cabinet fit, per-drawer capacity and how you interpret its efficiency ratings the key points to check before buying.
This is a specification-based overview, not a hands-on test. Fisher & Paykel’s product information describes its functions and performance claims; the accessible CHOICE listing does not provide a usable independent score or findings.
What kind of dishwasher is the DD60D4NX9?
Fisher & Paykel identifies the DD60D4NX9 as a Series 9 Contemporary Double DishDrawer model in stainless steel. Rather than one full-height tub, it has two drawers that can run independently. The manufacturer says they can use different wash programs, so one drawer can wash while the other is being loaded. That arrangement can suit households that prefer smaller, separate loads, though the manufacturer’s description alone does not establish how its efficiency compares with another dishwasher.

Will it fit your kitchen?
The manufacturer lists the appliance at 820–880 mm high, 599 mm wide and 573 mm deep. It is designed for under-bench installation, flush beneath the benchtop, and has a recessed handle and an interior touch-sensitive control panel. An optional custom kickstrip is described; the product listing also includes a kickstrip among the supplied items.
Do not treat the product dimensions as proof that the unit will fit a particular cabinet. Before ordering, check the model’s installation guide against the actual opening and confirm required clearances, water and electrical services, drainage, and any local installer requirements. A qualified local installer can verify site-specific fit and connections.

Do Wi-Fi and other features add useful control?
The product page says the DD60D4NX9 works with the SmartHQ app for remote control and notifications. It also lists a knock-to-pause function. Whether app access is useful depends on your preference for connected appliance controls and notifications; these features do not establish a cleaning-performance advantage.

What comes with it, and what remains uncertain?
The manufacturer lists a cutlery basket, kickstrip, knife clip and multipurpose clip as included. It also lists a flow-through detergent dispenser and rinse-aid indicator.
The accessible CHOICE page establishes that a review listing for this model exists, but does not reveal a usable test score or findings. There is therefore no basis here to give an independent verdict on cleaning results, noise, durability or reliability. Current price, stock, warranty detail, service coverage and exact installation clearances also need to be checked for your location. An earlier 2024 manufacturer guide listed 42 dBA on the standard cycle for the top drawer, but the current product-page extract did not show a noise figure, so that older value should not be treated as a verified current specification.

It is worth considering if you want two separately operated drawers, a built-under design and a listed seven-place-setting capacity per drawer. Before deciding, verify the cabinet and services, confirm the 280 mm plate limit works for your dishes, and assess the per-drawer water and energy figures on the basis relevant to your use. If independently tested cleaning performance, noise or reliability is central to your choice, seek current test findings rather than treating the manufacturer’s specifications as a substitute.
