In How to Fish, Killscore bonuses are reported to multiply a creature’s value based on how you kill it. The most consistently reported figures are 1.5x for 360, 1.25x for a headshot, 1.25x for a last-bullet kill, 1.2x for no scope, and 1.1x for point blank. To attempt the Impressive 5x achievement, guides recommend combining several conditions on one airborne seagull kill—but the full bonus system is community-measured, not an official developer specification.

What Killscore does

Killscore is described as a post-kill modifier: a style bonus changes the creature’s value before sale. It is separate from cooking, which guides describe as another way to affect value. The sources do not establish an official production formula or explain every interaction between Killscore and other value changes. NerdsChalk and How to Fish 101 discuss these as distinct mechanics.

Killscore multiplier list: the best-supported figures

These five values recur in the shorter community guides. They are reported measurements, not developer-confirmed specifications; conditions and recognition may vary with execution or game updates.

Bonus Reported multiplier Reported trigger Confidence
360 1.5x Complete a full spin before firing; hipfire only Repeated in two guides; detailed angle and timing claims remain community-reported.
Headshot 1.25x The killing shot lands on the creature’s head Repeated community value.
Last Bullet 1.25x Kill with the magazine’s final round Repeated community value.
No Scope 1.2x Fire from the hip without aiming down sights Repeated community value.
Point Blank 1.1x Kill at very close range Repeated community value.

Other reported bonus names include Killsteal (killing a creature already being fought), Fly Fishing (killing while airborne), Overkill (dealing more damage than needed), and Finally. The shorter list does not verify multipliers for these, and Finally’s trigger is unclear there. NerdsChalk lists these names without establishing all their values.

Why there is no definitive full list

A longer community list supplies figures for additional bonuses, including a reported 1.3x Killsteal and 1.5x Dogfight, as well as Longshot and multikill tiers. Another guide repeats many of those details. However, the lists differ in scope and certainty, and none of the retrieved sources provides a developer-confirmed specification. Treat the extra figures and triggers as provisional player measurements rather than a reliable complete table. See the community wiki’s Killscore page, Gameplay Tips, and How to Fish 101 for their respective reported details.

How stacking is reported to work

Community guides say compatible bonuses multiply rather than add, so one kill that satisfies several conditions can produce a much larger total than any single style bonus. The detailed lists also describe some condition groups as mutually exclusive, including scope state, distance, and aerial state. Since those restrictions are community-reported rather than official rules, use the kill banner in your current game as the practical check.

How to attempt the Impressive 5x achievement

NerdsChalk suggests using a hitscan shotgun or sniper to kill an airborne seagull with a long-range headshot, then layering other reported conditions where possible. The seagull supplies the airborne circumstance; range and a headshot are additional targets, and hipfire or a spin may add further bonuses if they are compatible. This is an attempt strategy, not a guaranteed recipe: some bonus figures are unverified, and execution or patches may change the result.

  1. Find a seagull while it is airborne and choose a weapon you can reliably land a shot with at range.
  2. Line up a headshot from a distance. If attempting other bonuses, plan them before firing; for example, a hipfire shot may satisfy No Scope, while a full spin before firing is the reported 360 condition.
  3. Check the kill banner to see which bonuses registered, then check whether the achievement advanced. If the result falls short, adjust one condition at a time rather than assuming every community-listed bonus stacked.

Getting a kill with no multiplier

The Noob achievement is reported to require a kill without a multiplier. A community guide recommends a grounded, still target and avoiding stylistic actions; do not deliberately aim for a headshot, close-range kill, final-round shot, or spin. The exact game recognition rules are not documented in the retrieved sources, so verify the achievement result in-game.

Does multiplier farming make more money?

Killscore can increase a creature’s reported sale value, but that does not prove it is the fastest way to earn money. One guide cautions that deliberately arranging elaborate multipliers may take longer than ordinary fishing routes. Choose the approach based on your goal: stack conditions when pursuing the 5x achievement or experimenting with value, and favor a straightforward route if time efficiency matters more.

When to recheck the figures

The short NerdsChalk list was updated August 24, 2026; Gameplay Tips is dated August 26, 2026; the community wiki says it checked the topic September 2, 2026; and How to Fish 101 says it was updated September 22, 2026. These dates identify when those guides reported their information, not an official game-version guarantee. Recheck the kill banner and achievement after patches, since the guides themselves note that mechanics can change.
