Verizon’s displayed Fios prices depend on your location and billing discounts. As of October 7, 2026, its national plan page lists monthly starting prices from $40 for 300 Mbps to $110 for 5 Gig, while a Washington-area page shows $30 to $100 for those tiers and also lists a 2 Gig plan. Neither page is a personalized quote: check availability and the order summary for your address before deciding.
Fios internet prices shown by Verizon
The two official Verizon pages below show why there is no single price to apply everywhere. These are monthly page displays, not guaranteed rates for every address. Verizon’s national page notes Auto Pay and paper-free billing discounts; the Washington-area prices are shown with Auto Pay.
| Plan tier | Verizon national page | Washington-area page |
|---|---|---|
| 300 Mbps | $40/month; Auto Pay and paper-free billing discount language appears on the page | $30/month; Auto Pay pricing |
| 500 Mbps | $75/month; 3-year price guarantee displayed | $65/month; Auto Pay pricing |
| 1 Gig | $90/month, up to 940 Mbps; 5-year price guarantee displayed | $80/month, up to 940/880 Mbps; Auto Pay pricing |
| 2 Gig | Not listed on the national page | $90/month; listed average wired speeds of 1.5–2.3 Gbps |
| 5 Gig | $110/month; 5-year price guarantee displayed | $100/month; listed average wired speeds of 4.5–5.3 Gbps |

Treat a promotion such as a gift card or entertainment subscription separately from the recurring monthly charge; Verizon’s national page includes time-limited 2026 promotional offers for select plans.

Availability and local offers
Fios is available only in parts of the Mid-Atlantic and New England, and the plan menu can vary by market. Verizon’s availability information recommends checking a ZIP code or service address. The national and Washington-area pages are examples, not interchangeable rate cards.

Billing discounts and offer conditions
Some displayed prices depend on Auto Pay and paper-free billing. Check which discounts apply to your account and whether they require a particular payment method before comparing the monthly price with another offer.
One-time charges
Verizon’s moving-offer page advertises Fios 300 Mbps at $30 per month and states that a $99 setup charge and other terms apply. That is a term of that particular offer, not evidence that every new customer pays a $99 setup fee. Review the offer tied to your address and the checkout summary for any one-time charge. See Verizon’s moving internet deals.

Equipment and price guarantees
Verizon says routers are included on the plans displayed on its national Fios page. The same page shows price guarantees for some tiers, but the duration is plan-specific; read the terms attached to the offer you select rather than assuming every tier has the same guarantee. Verizon’s plan page.

How to compare the plans at your address
- Check eligibility: Enter your service address or ZIP code in Verizon’s Fios availability checker.
- Compare the available tiers: Look at the advertised download and upload speeds and monthly price shown for your address. Most Fios tiers offer similar download and upload speeds, which can help with video calls, gaming, and large uploads. See Verizon’s home internet overview.
- Confirm the discount rules: Check whether the displayed price assumes Auto Pay, paper-free billing, or another condition.
- Review the order total and terms: Separate recurring monthly charges from setup fees and limited-time promotions; check whether a router is included and whether a price guarantee applies.
What speed tier makes sense?
Choose based on the speeds and price available to your home, plus how many people and devices use the connection at once. A gigabit label is an advertised tier, not a promise that every device will record that speed. Verizon says actual wired and wireless speeds can vary with device limits, simultaneous users, and network conditions; Wi-Fi results can therefore differ from a wired connection. - IPv4 / IPv6 Dual Stac
- IP sharing for LAN with up to 253 users
- Firewall function with Access Control List (ACL)
- Dynamic and Static IP
- Guest Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz)
If you upload large files or make frequent video calls, the near-symmetrical speeds available on most Fios tiers may matter as much as the download tier. For ordinary browsing and streaming, compare the lower available tiers first rather than paying for capacity your household is unlikely to use.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- DUAL-BAND WIFI 6 ROUTER: Wi-Fi 6(802.11ax) technology achieves faster speeds, greater capacity and reduced network congestion compared to the previous gen. All WiFi routers require a separate modem. Dual-Band WiFi routers do not support the 6 GHz band.
- AX1800: Enjoy smoother and more stable streaming, gaming, downloading with 1.8 Gbps total bandwidth (up to 1200 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz). Performance varies by conditions, distance to devices, and obstacles such as walls.
- CONNECT MORE DEVICES: Wi-Fi 6 technology communicates more data to more devices simultaneously using revolutionary OFDMA technology
- EXTENSIVE COVERAGE: Achieve the strong, reliable WiFi coverage with Archer AX1800 as it focuses signal strength to your devices far away using Beamforming technology, 4 high-gain antennas and an advanced front-end module (FEM) chipset
- OUR CYBERSECURITY COMMITMENT: TP-Link is a signatory of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Secure-by-Design pledge. This device is designed, built, and maintained, with advanced security as a core requirement.
