On a Samsung front-load washer, open the door and check the frame and area around the door seal. On a top-load washer, check the back of the machine. If a front-load washer has no visible label near the door, check the rear as well.

How to tell the serial number from the model number
The label usually shows both identifiers. The model number identifies the product design within a series; appliances with the same model number share specifications and features. The serial number, often marked S/N, identifies your individual washer and distinguishes it from other units of the same model.
Samsung says these numbers are useful when booking a repair, registering a product, or requesting warranty service. Support options and warranty terms vary by location. If the label is hard to find or read
- Use a flashlight to illuminate a dim area.
- Take a photo of a hard-to-reach label and enlarge it to read the text.
- Check the user manual or purchase documents for the model and serial numbers.
- If you still cannot locate them, contact Samsung support for your region with your washer’s model details if available.
