From Sester’s Gate Beacon, head north up the steps, deal with or avoid the pair of ranged enemies, then use the wall switch beside the gate. The chest containing the Devout Stone is just inside.
How to reach the Devout Stone chest
- Start at Sester’s Gate Beacon. If you have already unlocked it, use it as your route start.
- Head north and climb the steps toward the pair of ranged enemies.
- Clear or avoid the enemies so you can reach the wall switch beside the gate.
- Use the switch to open the gate, enter, and open the chest inside.
This route follows the landmarks consistently described in MortalShell2.games, the Mortal Shell II walkthrough, and All Things How. The chest is a short trip back up the steps from the beacon.

What does the Devout Stone do?
The reported effect is inconsistent, so check the item description in your current game build rather than assuming one effect applies to every version. An Open Beta client UI snapshot for build 24459107, checked on August 18, 2026, classifies the Devout Stone as a Melee Tarstone and says it “Improves Resolve gain from melee attacks.” That snapshot does not establish the final retail effect or numeric values.
