Cricket Wireless and Red Pocket’s GSMA option are the two AT&T-network choices confirmed here. Cricket explicitly advertises nationwide 5G on AT&T; Red Pocket identifies GSMA as its AT&T-compatible option. Neither label guarantees identical coverage or performance everywhere, so check the specific plan, your address and travel routes, and your phone before switching.
Which plans on this list use AT&T’s network?
| Option | What the provider confirms | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Cricket Wireless | Its plans page advertises nationwide 5G on the AT&T network. | Check the current plan terms, device compatibility, and coverage where you use your phone. |
| Red Pocket GSMA | Red Pocket identifies GSMA as its AT&T-compatible option; it offers monthly and annual plans. | Select GSMA specifically and confirm the selected plan is available on that network, plus check phone compatibility and current terms. |
These are the confirmed picks, not a claim that every plan from either provider has the same data rules, hotspot allowance, coverage, or performance. See Cricket’s plans and coverage information and Red Pocket’s plans; Red Pocket explains its network options on its network support page.
How to choose between Cricket and Red Pocket
Choose based on the places you need service
Start with your home, workplace, regular commute, and destinations you visit. Cricket provides a ZIP-code coverage check, but cautions that its coverage view is approximate, may not show every gap, and cannot predict actual customer performance. Terrain, buildings, weather, foliage, equipment, signal strength, and busy periods can affect service. Cricket does not guarantee coverage and notes that data may temporarily slow when the network is busy.
Use Cricket’s coverage and plans page as an initial check, not a promise of service at a particular location. Before porting your number or paying for an annual plan, consider whether you can test service or confirm the provider’s return and cancellation terms.

Match the plan to your data and hotspot use
Do not choose by the word “unlimited” alone. Read the current disclosure for the exact plan and look for high-speed data allowances, thresholds after which speeds may be reduced, hotspot limits, and any conditions on use. If you regularly tether a laptop or tablet, verify that hotspot is included and whether it draws from the same data allowance.
Plan names, prices, and promotions change. Compare the live terms for the selected Cricket plan or Red Pocket GSMA plan rather than relying on older advertised prices. Include taxes and fees in the total and weigh monthly billing against any annual payment commitment.

Confirm the network and device before buying
For Red Pocket, choosing GSMA is essential if your reason for signing up is AT&T compatibility; do not assume a plan described as available across multiple networks is offered on GSMA. Check that your phone is unlocked, compatible with the provider’s service, and eligible for any features you need, such as 5G or eSIM. Each provider sets its own device requirements.
Why AT&T-compatible does not mean identical service
Using the same underlying network does not establish that two providers offer the same coverage at every address, data thresholds, hotspot terms, or customer experience. The available provider disclosures do not support a universal speed or network-priority ranking between these options. Compare the specific plan terms and local coverage information instead of assuming that a shared network label makes the plans interchangeable.

Other options: what is and is not confirmed
H2O Wireless
H2O’s current plan disclosures display unlimited-data labels with reductions after specified usage thresholds; examples on the page show reductions after 40GB or 60GB, depending on plan. However, the available plan information does not establish which network hosts those plans. Do not treat H2O as a confirmed AT&T-network option unless H2O confirms the network for the exact plan you intend to buy. Review its current plan disclosures before making a decision.
AT&T direct service
If staying directly with AT&T matters more than choosing an MVNO, AT&T Build-A-Plan is a separate, direct-carrier comparison—not an MVNO. Its page lists a $15-per-month base plan with unlimited talk and text and 1GB of data, before taxes and fees. Data and hotspot add-ons are available. The offer is limited to one line and online sign-up, and requires a paid-off, unlocked, eSIM-capable phone. AT&T says it may temporarily slow data when the network is busy. Check AT&T Build-A-Plan for current terms.
AT&T Prepaid is another direct-service option. AT&T says its prepaid service has no annual contract or credit check, but current offers have specific speed, hotspot, payment, and eligibility conditions. Check the offer details on AT&T Prepaid rather than relying on a headline promotion.
