Filoshi is a downloadable file-conversion app advertised for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with support for video, audio, images, documents, and other file categories. Its vendor says it works offline and offers a lifetime license with free updates. The headline’s $40 price is not confirmed by the current product page: it displays $29 and $39, so check the checkout price and license terms before buying.
What is Filoshi?
Filoshi is desktop software from Synvor, not a physical converter. The vendor markets it as a single app for converting files across several categories, including video, audio, images, documents, email, archives, fonts, and 3D meshes. Its product page claims support for more than 3,000 formats; that is the vendor’s count, not an independently verified format-by-format test. Filoshi’s product page lists Windows, macOS, and Linux compatibility.
Can it convert files offline and in batches?
Filoshi advertises both offline operation and batch conversion. The vendor says, “Your files never leave your machine.” That is a privacy claim from Filoshi, not an independently verified assessment of the app’s data handling. If local processing is important, review the product’s current documentation and privacy terms before using it with sensitive files.

Confirm that your exact input and output formats are supported before purchasing.

How much does it cost, and what does lifetime include?
The product page currently displays $29 and also shows $39 as a regular or upcoming price. It therefore does not substantiate the headline’s $40 as the current price. Prices and offer presentation can change; check the amount shown at checkout.
The vendor describes the purchase as a one-time lifetime license and says updates are free. Treat those as the terms currently advertised, and verify the license details at purchase, including what “lifetime” covers and whether free updates apply to your version and operating system.

How does it compare with an audio-only converter?
Switch is a narrower alternative focused on audio conversion. Its Steam listing shows a $39.99 price, support for more than 40 audio formats, and batch-conversion features. That listing does not establish lifetime-license terms, and Switch’s audio focus is not directly comparable to Filoshi’s broader advertised file categories. Check the current listing for price and details: Switch on Steam.
