SRYN Productions has optioned Rayll’s Fears to Fathom video-game franchise for film and television development. Scarlet Stallone is partnering with creator Mukul Negi, known professionally as Rayll. The October 16, 2026 announcement does not confirm a distributor, streaming service, theatrical partner, release date, director, writer, format, or selected game episode.
What was announced
Dread Central reported on October 16, 2026, that SRYN Productions had optioned Fears to Fathom for development in film and television. An option gives a production company the right to develop screen projects based on the property; it is not the same as announcing that filming has started or that a finished movie has been ordered.
Scarlet Stallone is attached as the production partner alongside Mukul Negi, the independent creator who releases the games under the name Rayll. The announcement identifies the partnership and the development rights, but it does not identify a studio distributor, broadcaster, streamer, theatrical release partner, screenwriter, director, cast beyond Stallone’s producing involvement, or target release window.

What Fears to Fathom is
Rayll Studios describes the series as “an episodic psychological horror game where each episode unveils a short story narrated by the ones who survived.” The official presentation is an anthology: each installment focuses on a largely self-contained, plausible danger rather than a single continuing hero or a shared monster mythology.

The first game, Home Alone, establishes the series’ format. Its official page credits Rayll as author and describes a Windows experience with a VHS-film look, text messages from non-player characters and player voice activity. Those devices make the player feel present in an ordinary situation that gradually becomes unsafe.

Why the adaptation is notable
The games derive tension from recognizable circumstances: being alone, traveling, staying somewhere unfamiliar or interacting with people whose intentions are unclear. That grounded approach can translate to screen without requiring a large effects budget, but it places unusual pressure on writing, pacing and point of view. A film or series must create the same uncertainty without the player controlling the protagonist or choosing how long to investigate a suspicious detail.

Stallone said she had played the games since the first installment and described their fear as coming from situations that “could actually happen to you.” She said the goal is to expand the world while keeping what fans value. Rayll similarly characterized Fears to Fathom as a personal project whose connection with players comes from the authenticity of events that could happen to anyone.

What is confirmed—and what is not
| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|
| Is a screen adaptation being developed? | Yes. SRYN Productions has optioned the franchise for film and television development. |
| Who is involved? | Scarlet Stallone and creator Mukul Negi (Rayll) are the announced partners. |
| Is it definitely a feature film? | No. The announcement covers film and television development and does not select a format. |
| Will it adapt Home Alone? | Not announced. No episode or original story has been selected publicly. |
| Where will it stream or play? | No distributor, platform or theatrical partner is confirmed. |
| When will it be released? | No release date or production schedule has been announced. |
| Who will write or direct? | No writer or director is named in the announcement. |
Could it be an anthology or one continuous story?
The source material supports several screen models, but none has been chosen publicly. An anthology could retain the games’ survivor-narrated, standalone structure, allowing each episode or film to introduce a new setting and cast. A single feature could instead adapt one existing episode, such as Home Alone, and expand its short-form premise into a longer narrative. Producers could also commission an original incident in the same world while preserving the franchise’s tone.
Those choices will determine whether the adaptation emphasizes first-person immediacy, a conventional cinematic viewpoint, episodic television’s wider character development, or a compact feature-length escalation. Until a format and episode are announced, descriptions of a specific plot would be speculation.

What “optioned” means for viewers
An option signals that the rights holder and production company are pursuing development, which can involve scripts, financing, packaging talent and presenting the project to distributors. Projects can change form or remain unproduced during that process. The October 2026 announcement therefore confirms an active adaptation effort, not a guaranteed premiere.
For now, the games remain the only released Fears to Fathom experiences. They are distributed digitally through Steam, and the franchise’s current listing contains the six titles named above. Further announcements would be needed to establish the screen project’s episode, rating, production start, cast, distributor and launch date.
