Chronicle Collectibles’ Fallout Power Fist is a life-size display prop built for collectors and Sole Survivor cosplay, not a functional weapon. Here is what is documented about its scale, materials, release price and availability—and what to verify before buying one today.
What the Fallout Power Fist replica is
The product is Chronicle Collectibles’ officially licensed Fallout Power Fist prop replica, produced from Bethesda’s 3D assets. ComicBook.com described the release as a Bethesda and GameStop partnership and identified it as the first licensed Fallout 1:1 Power Fist prop replica. Its role is purely decorative or costume-related: it is a fictional game prop, not protective equipment and not a working weapon.
The collector reference listing describes it as a 1:1-scale item made of plastic and released in 2019. That combination makes it substantially more accessible than a custom metal fabrication while preserving the oversized silhouette fans recognize from the games.

The 18-inch figure is the listed overall length, not a guarantee that every dimension—height, width, or hand clearance—matches an in-game model. Product photos and seller measurements should therefore be treated as supplementary rather than as proof of a different scale.

How accurate is the 1:1 claim?
“1:1” means the replica is intended to represent the prop at life size. The collector listing’s approximately 18-inch length supports that description, while the use of Bethesda’s 3D assets supports visual provenance. It does not mean the replica has the weight, internal mechanics or materials of a real industrial power tool. Plastic construction, seams, paint application and simplified moving parts can all differ from the fictional object shown in Fallout.
What is established
- It is marketed as a life-size Power Fist.
- The documented length is about 18 inches.
- The design originated from Bethesda-supplied 3D assets.
What is not established
- No product-specific evidence confirms LEDs, sound, powered motion or articulated fingers.
- No source confirms a display stand, batteries or alternate hands.
- “1:1” does not by itself prove that a second-hand listing is genuine.
Cosplay and display use
The intended uses are a collection display, a conversation piece and the final prop for a customized Sole Survivor costume. At roughly 18 inches, it is large enough to read clearly in photographs and convention halls, but its plastic shell should be handled as a prop. Check event rules before carrying it: conventions may require that props be empty, secured, peace-bonded or inspected, and local policies can differ.

For a costume, measure your forearm and glove clearance before purchasing. A life-size exterior can still feel awkward if the grip or openings were designed for display rather than extended wear. Plan a safe way to carry or attach it between photographs, and avoid swinging or pointing it at people.

Release price versus today’s market
The documented 2019 release price was $99.99. That is a historical price, not a current resale valuation. The exact retailer listing located for the product is sold out, so availability now depends on second-hand marketplaces, collector sales and occasional old stock. Prices can be higher or lower than the original amount depending on packaging, paint condition, completeness and demand.

No authoritative current marketplace seller, price or condition has been established. Treat any listing that presents $99.99 as a guaranteed current price—or claims that every copy has electronics or a stand—as unverified unless its photographs and documentation support those statements.
How to evaluate a listing
- Confirm the identity. Look for “Chronicle Collectibles,” Fallout licensing references and clear photographs of the actual item, not only promotional art.
- Check scale and measurements. Compare the seller’s dimensions with the approximately 18-inch reference and ask which points were measured.
- Inspect materials and finish. The documented version is plastic. Ask about cracks, warped parts, paint rub, missing panels and repainting or weathering that is not factory original.
- Verify completeness. Request confirmation of the original packaging and any accessories. A stand, lights, batteries or moving mechanisms are not documented features of this model.
- Assess seller risk. Review transaction history, return terms, authentication photographs and whether the seller accepts questions about provenance.
- Price the condition, not the nostalgia. Compare several completed sales when possible; do not assume the 2019 release price predicts a 2026 resale price.
Questions to ask before buying
- Is this the Chronicle Collectibles licensed replica or a fan-made/custom piece?
- Is the item approximately 18 inches long, and how was that measurement taken?
- Are all original parts present, and has anything been repaired, repainted or glued?
- Does the seller have photographs of the exact serial, box or molded details?
- What happens if the item arrives damaged or differs from the description?
Related-product claims you should not assume
Other licensed Fallout replicas may list LEDs, explicit battery requirements, detailed dimensions or a supplied display stand. Those specifications belong to those individual products. They cannot be transferred to the Power Fist without a Power Fist-specific listing or manufacturer documentation. This distinction matters when a marketplace seller combines photographs or bullet points from several Fallout props.

The Chronicle Collectibles Power Fist is a documented 1:1, approximately 18-inch plastic replica released in 2019 for $99.99. Its licensed Bethesda asset provenance and life-size format make it a credible display and Sole Survivor cosplay prop. Because the known retailer listing is sold out and no current authoritative offer is confirmed, buy only after checking authenticity, condition, completeness and the seller’s return protection.
