91mobiles reports higher Geekbench and AnTuTu scores for the Exynos 2600 than for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but its Exynos AnTuTu figures conflict and the page does not document a controlled, same-phone test. The comparison is therefore a useful indication—not proof that every Exynos-powered phone will be faster in everyday use or sustained gaming.
What separates the Exynos 2600 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2?
These are chips from different generations. 91mobiles lists the Exynos 2600 as released in December 2025 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in November 2022. Its comparison lists a 2nm process label, ten CPU cores and an Xclipse 960 GPU for Exynos 2600; the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is listed with a 4nm label, eight CPU cores and an Adreno 740 GPU. The process labels describe foundry nodes, not a direct measure of speed or battery life.
| Specification | Exynos 2600 | Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Release date listed by 91mobiles | December 2025 | November 2022 |
| Process label listed by 91mobiles | 2nm | 4nm |
| CPU configuration listed by 91mobiles | 10 cores: 1×3.8GHz C1-Ultra, 3×3.25GHz C1-Pro, 6×2.75GHz C1-Pro | 8 cores: 1×3.2GHz Cortex-X3, 2×2.8GHz Cortex-A715, 2×2.8GHz Cortex-A710, 3×2.0GHz Cortex-A510 |
| GPU listed by 91mobiles | Xclipse 960 | Adreno 740 |
| Memory type listed by 91mobiles | LPDDR5X | LPDDR5X |
Core counts and peak clock rates alone do not predict how quickly a phone will perform under sustained load. Cooling, power limits, software and the phone’s implementation also matter. The shared LPDDR5X label likewise does not establish that phones using the chips have identical memory configurations.
Which chip is faster in the reported benchmarks?
In 91mobiles’ comparison, the Exynos 2600 has the higher listed Geekbench 6 scores: 3,220 single-core and 11,249 multi-core, against 2,023 and 5,564 for Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The page labels these as Geekbench results but does not document a matched-device test method.

| Benchmark | Exynos 2600 listed result | Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 listed result |
|---|---|---|
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 3,220 | 2,023 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 11,249 | 5,564 |
| AnTuTu | 3,113,347 in the detailed section and introductory text; 3,006,289 in the summary | 1,611,015 |
The two Exynos AnTuTu totals appear on the same comparison page, so neither should be treated as the definitive value. The page does not establish that the scores came from phones matched for firmware, cooling, test conditions or repeat runs. Avoid calculating a precise performance lead from one selectively chosen AnTuTu figure.
What do the manufacturers claim?
Samsung’s Exynos 2600 product page describes Arm C1-Ultra and C1-Pro cores using Arm v9.3, an Xclipse 960 GPU, an on-device AI NPU, Exynos Neural Super Sampling (ENSS), and a camera ISP with Visual Perception System and Deep learning Video Noise Reduction. Samsung also lists support for cameras up to 320MP, the APV video codec and a Heat Path Block. These are product descriptions, not independent head-to-head results against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Samsung says, based on its internal testing, that the Exynos 2600 improves CPU computing performance by up to 39%, generative AI performance by 113%, ray-tracing performance by up to 50%, and thermal resistance by up to 16% compared with the Exynos 2500. Samsung also claims graphics can feel up to three times smoother when ENSS resolution upscaling and frame generation are used together, again based on internal testing versus Exynos 2500. These figures use Exynos 2500—not Snapdragon 8 Gen 2—as their baseline.

Qualcomm describes Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 as including a Kryo CPU, Adreno GPU, Hexagon AI processor, Snapdragon X70 Modem-RF system and FastConnect 7800, with Wi-Fi 7 support and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. What should you expect for gaming and everyday use?
The published scores suggest the newer Exynos 2600 leads in this particular comparison, but they do not establish how two specific phones will behave. For gaming, the GPU name is only part of the picture: game support, a phone’s cooling design and sustained frame rates are important, and 91mobiles does not provide a controlled gaming comparison between the chips. The same caution applies to general use: benchmark totals are not a guarantee of a noticeable difference in every app or workload.

91mobiles names the Samsung Galaxy S26 as an Exynos 2600 example and the Samsung Galaxy S23 5G as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 example. Chip assignments can depend on the exact regional model, and the comparison does not verify current stock or retailer listings. Check the full model number and the specifications for the version sold in your market before buying; a phone family name alone may not establish its processor.
