Exynos 2400e leads the listed comparison in Geekbench 6 multi-core, AnTuTu 11, and two graphics tests, while the Geekbench 6 single-core scores are close. That makes it the stronger performer in these aggregate results—not a guaranteed winner in every phone, game, or battery-life test. The Exynos 2400e is found in Samsung’s Galaxy S24 FE; Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 results can come from phones with different cooling and software.

Which processor is faster?

In the figures displayed by NanoReview’s comparison, the Exynos 2400e scores higher in the listed multi-core, overall AnTuTu, and graphics tests. Geekbench 6 single-core results are much closer: 2,045 for Exynos 2400e and 2,004 for Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

These are aggregated results rather than a controlled comparison of both processors in otherwise identical phones. They indicate how the chips have scored in the source’s samples, but do not establish a universal winner for real-world responsiveness, gaming, sustained performance, or battery life.

How do their specifications compare?

Both are listed as 4 nm chips, but they differ in CPU layout and graphics hardware. The clock speeds and configurations below are those listed by NanoReview.

Specification Exynos 2400e Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
CPU cores 10 8
Prime core 1 × Cortex-X4 at 3.11 GHz 1 × Cortex-X3 at 3.2 GHz
Other performance cores 2 × Cortex-A720 at 2.9 GHz; 3 × Cortex-A720 at 2.6 GHz 2 × Cortex-A715 at 2.8 GHz; 2 × Cortex-A710 at 2.8 GHz
Efficiency cores 4 × Cortex-A520 at 1.95 GHz 3 × Cortex-A510 at 2.0 GHz
Graphics processor Samsung Xclipse 940 Adreno 740
Manufacturing process 4 nm 4 nm

Notebookcheck describes the Xclipse 940 as based on AMD RDNA 3. Core count and peak clock speed alone do not determine performance: benchmark workloads use CPU and GPU resources differently, and the phone’s implementation also matters.

What do the benchmark scores show?

The following figures are displayed on NanoReview’s comparison page. They are source-reported results, not tests run under a controlled, same-phone setup.

Rank #2
Sale
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, 128GB, Graphite - Unlocked (Renewed)
  • The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
Benchmark Exynos 2400e Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
Geekbench 6 single-core 2,045 2,004
Geekbench 6 multi-core 6,397 5,311
AnTuTu 11 total 1,977,269 1,757,044
3DMark Steel Nomad Light 1,769; 70% listed stability 1,092; 67% listed stability
3DMark Solar Bay 7,699; listed graphics-test rate of 29 FPS 5,312; listed graphics-test rate of 20 FPS

CPU: close single-core scores, wider multi-core gap

The Geekbench 6 single-core results differ by 41 points, while the listed multi-core scores are 1,086 points apart. The table therefore suggests a small single-core lead and a more pronounced multi-core lead for the Exynos 2400e in these samples. Neither result guarantees how quickly a particular phone will open apps or complete a sustained task.

Graphics: Exynos leads in the listed tests

The Exynos 2400e scores higher in both listed 3DMark tests. NanoReview also reports the Solar Bay graphics-test frame rates shown above. A synthetic graphics score is not a prediction of a specific game’s frame rate: game version, operating system, phone cooling, graphics settings, and other factors can change the result.

Rank #3
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, 128GB, Blue - Unlocked (Renewed)
  • The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.

AnTuTu: the overall score hides component differences

NanoReview’s AnTuTu 11 total is higher for the Exynos 2400e, but the comparison also includes CPU, GPU, memory, and UX subscores, and the chips do not rank identically in every subscore. The total is a composite benchmark result, not a direct measure of every task a phone performs.

How much confidence should you put in the comparison?

The sample counts vary between processors and tests. For AnTuTu 11, NanoReview lists 56 Exynos 2400e samples and 238 Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 samples; for Geekbench 6 CPU, it lists 24 and 132, respectively. Those unequal samples are one reason to treat the figures as indicative rather than as a controlled head-to-head measurement.

Notebookcheck characterizes Exynos 2400e CPU performance in its benchmark set as comparable to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Its listed Galaxy S24 FE result is from a phone with 8 GB of RAM, so it represents that device and test setup—not every Exynos 2400e implementation. A separate Geekbench Browser result for a Galaxy S24 FE identifies Samsung s5e9945, a 10-core configuration with listed cluster frequencies of 1.96, 2.59, 2.90, and 3.11 GHz.

What does this mean for a phone purchase?

Samsung identifies the Exynos 2400e as the processor in the Galaxy S24 FE. Samsung’s launch announcement lists 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage options, with availability varying by carrier, country, or region. Samsung Canada’s product listing also specifies Exynos 2400e for its S24 FE variant.

There is no corresponding single Snapdragon phone identified by the aggregate comparison as an equivalent device. A phone using Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 may differ in cooling, software, memory, and power limits from the S24 FE. For a buying decision, compare the exact handset models and the workload that matters to you; chipset names alone cannot settle battery life, sustained gaming performance, or everyday responsiveness.

Samsung’s announcement quotes SeaYoung Lee, Corporate EVP and Head of the Smartphone Research and Development team, describing the S24 FE as bringing Galaxy AI capabilities to more users. That is Samsung’s promotional statement about the device, not evidence of comparative processor performance.
