Neither chip is a clear all-around winner. NanoReview’s listed results give the Snapdragon 778G+ the lead in AnTuTu 11 and Geekbench 6, while the Exynos 1380 scores higher in the cited 3DMark Wild Life Extreme and PCMark 3.0 results. Those are aggregate benchmark figures, not a controlled test of otherwise identical phones, so the better choice depends on the handset and what you use it for.
Exynos 1380 vs Snapdragon 778G+: specifications at a glance
Samsung and Qualcomm describe the processors as follows. These are platform-level specifications and features; the phone maker’s implementation determines which capabilities are available on a particular device.

Which chip is faster in the listed benchmarks?
NanoReview’s comparison page lists the following results. Its AnTuTu figures are aggregates with different sample counts: 113 Exynos 1380 tests and 16 Snapdragon 778G+ tests. The page does not establish that all results come from devices tested under identical conditions.

What the score pattern means
- CPU and overall aggregate scores: The Snapdragon 778G+ has higher listed AnTuTu 11 and Geekbench 6 results. The AnTuTu sample imbalance makes that aggregate especially unsuitable as a definitive head-to-head verdict.
- Graphics and general-use test results: The Exynos 1380 has higher listed 3DMark Wild Life Extreme and PCMark 3.0 results. A higher score in either test does not establish that every Exynos 1380 phone will outperform every Snapdragon 778G+ phone.
- Comparisons across phones: A benchmark score reflects a tested device and its conditions as well as the processor. Different phones can vary in cooling, software, memory, and power settings.
Is the Exynos 1380 better for gaming?
The cited 3DMark Wild Life Extreme result favors the Exynos 1380, but that alone cannot determine which chip provides the better gaming experience. The comparison does not test the two processors in identical phones or establish frame rates, heat, or performance over a long gaming session.
Rank #2
- Carrier: This phone is locked to Tracfone, which means this device can only be used on the Tracfone wireless network. Tracfone plan required, activating is easy, just 3 steps.
- DISPLAY: Immersive viewing on a 6.7-inch super-bright 120Hz display with powerful stereo speakers and Bass Boost for cinematic entertainment.
- CAMERA SYSTEM: Advanced 50MP Quad Pixel camera captures sharp, detailed photos and videos in any lighting condition

- BATTERY LIFE: Long-lasting 5000mAh battery with TurboPower charging technology delivers hours of power in minutes.
For a specific game, compare the exact phone models rather than relying on chip names. Look for testing of the same game and settings, sustained frame rate, thermal behavior during extended play, and battery drain. The phone’s cooling design and software power limits can change how a processor performs after it heats up.

- Memory and storage: Confirm the RAM and storage configuration, which can differ between versions of the same phone.
- Display and cameras: Assess the actual panel and camera implementation rather than inferring them from the processor’s capabilities.
- Software support: Compare update commitments for the particular models.
- Connectivity and price: Verify regional network bands, exact model number, and local pricing before choosing.
