Owner feedback is too limited and mixed to establish how reliably this exact variant cleans or operates over time: ProductReview.com.au’s DWF146-family page reports 2.7 out of 5 from five reviews, but includes multiple variants. Treat that score as a small, mixed sample—not a DWF146PS test result.
What the DWF146PS manual confirms
The Everdure manual covers the DWF146PS alongside the DWF146WE and DWF146SS variants. It specifies capacity for 14 place settings and external dimensions of 850 mm high, 600 mm wide and 600 mm deep. The document reference is 12/2012, so use the rating label on the individual appliance for its electrical requirements rather than assuming a specification not stated in the manual.
The manual describes six wash programs and covers detergent use, rinse aid, loading, the filter system, installation, water connections, cleaning and troubleshooting. Among the visible reviews explicitly tagged DWF146PS, one owner described a positive early experience after about a month and mentioned using a one-hour program and half-load option. Another reported that the dishwasher stopped turning on. These are individual accounts, not independent tests; neither proves how the model generally cleans or how long it lasts.
The family Q&A page includes questions about items such as a spray arm, soap-door latch, pump and error lights, but posts cover different variants and do not measure how often faults occur. What to check before buying a used DWF146PS
The manual documents the format and operating guidance, but it does not establish current retail availability, parts supply, service access or the condition of any second-hand unit. Assess the specific appliance and installation rather than treating a review score as a substitute for inspection.
- Measure the available space against the manual’s 850 × 600 × 600 mm height, width and depth, and confirm the proposed installation and water connection are suitable.
- Ask to see the unit complete a cycle. Check that it starts, runs through the selected program and drains, and look for visible signs of leakage.
- Inspect the racks, door, detergent dispenser and filter system for condition and completeness.
- Read the rating label on the appliance for electrical details, and verify that parts and service are accessible for your location before committing to the purchase.
These are practical checks for any used dishwasher; they are not claims that the DWF146PS has a particular defect.

Detergent, rinse aid and routine care
The manual says to use detergent intended for dishwashers and gives instructions for powder and tablets. It also describes a rinse-aid dispenser and explains that rinse aid is released in the final rinse to help prevent water droplets, spots and streaks. Use products according to their labels and follow the manual’s dispenser and loading instructions.
The filter system is part of the maintenance covered in the manual. Follow its cleaning and care guidance for the unit. For problems involving water supply, overflow, electrical components or leaks, use the manual’s troubleshooting advice where applicable and contact current manufacturer support or an authorised service provider when service is indicated; avoid improvised repairs.

The available documentation and owner page do not establish comparable energy or water consumption, noise, measured cleaning or drying performance, current price or retail status, a current authoritative parts catalogue, or exact compatible spare-part numbers. The manual is older documentation, so check the appliance label and physical condition on the specific unit. These unknowns matter if you are comparing it with another dishwasher: use equivalent specifications, tests and current service information rather than inferring an advantage from the program count or anecdotal reviews.
