The Euromaid BG14BM is a discontinued, full-size freestanding dishwasher listed for 14 place settings. Its feature sheet promises a wide choice of cycles and active-ventilation drying, but the public information available does not establish how well it washes or dries in independent testing. Treat its energy and water figures as claims, and check the exact unit’s condition and availability before considering a purchase.
What kind of dishwasher is the BG14BM?
Euromaid’s 2021 specification sheet describes the BG14BM as a freestanding dishwasher with capacity for 14 place settings. It measures 598 mm wide, 600 mm deep and 850 mm high. CHOICE lists rounded dimensions of 85 × 60 × 60 cm, consistent with those figures.
Before buying a used or remaining-stock machine, measure the intended space and confirm the required water, drainage and electrical connections. A nominally matching width and depth do not establish that a particular installation will fit.
What programs and features does it list?
The specification sheet names eight programs. These are listed features, not evidence of independently tested cleaning results.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

|---|---|
| Prewash | Prewash |
| 30-minute cycle | 30min |
| Eco cycle | eco45 |
| Quick cycle | quick 60°C |
| Intensive cycle | intensive 70°C |
| Hygiene cycle | hygiene 70°C |
| Mixed-load cycle | mix wash+ 70°C |
| Automatic cycle | Auto 45–65°C |
Other listed features include a 9-hour delay start, half-load option, tablet function, adjustable upper basket that can be loaded, and active-ventilation drying. The manufacturer also specifies a noise level of 43 dBA; that is a published specification, not an independent measurement.
How should you read the efficiency figures?
Euromaid’s sheet gives the BG14BM a 3-star energy rating and 5-star water rating. CHOICE’s public model listing reports claimed consumption of 312 kWh per year and 11.2 L of water, alongside the same star ratings. The public material does not provide measured consumption results, so those figures should not be treated as independently verified use.

Is the BG14BM independently tested well?
The public CHOICE page does not disclose its detailed wash, drying or energy test results; those results are behind member access. Without those scores, the specifications alone cannot show whether the machine cleans or dries well, or how it compares with another dishwasher. Avoid treating the cycle list, capacity, or manufacturer’s noise figure as proof of real-world performance.

Yes. CHOICE marks the model as discontinued. That does not establish whether a particular seller still has a unit, so verify that a listing is for the exact BG14BM and confirm its condition before proceeding. CHOICE’s listed $1,099 price is historical; it does not establish a current selling price.

CHOICE identifies the WG14BM as identical except for colour. That is a same-family reference point, not a substitute for checking the exact model, its condition and any applicable support or warranty terms.
What does its warranty cover?
Euromaid’s specification sheet states a 2-year parts-and-labour warranty for the appliance and separately describes a “Brushless motor with 5 Year warranty.” The five-year statement is for the motor, not a five-year whole-appliance warranty. Confirm the terms that apply to the specific unit and purchase date.
