Elyos characters reach Eternal Isle through a quest route that starts with Ahtan at the cliff in the Southwestern Tolbas Forest. The current quest entry lists Draupnir as a prerequisite, sends you through a Windstream, and then asks you to collect one Eternal Drana Mutant bio-specimen on the island.
The same entry shows both “Level 10 Elyos” and “Recommended level 45.” Those fields conflict, and the listing does not prove that level 45 is a compulsory entry gate. Treat 45 as a recommended level until your game client or a later, authoritative update states otherwise.

At a glance: what you need for Eternal Isle
- Faction: Elyos.
- Starting NPC: Ahtan.
- Starting location: The cliff in the Southwestern Tolbas Forest.
- Listed prerequisite: The quest Draupnir.
- Travel method: Ride the Windstream to Eternal Isle.
- Island objective: Collect one Eternal Drana Mutant bio-specimen.
- Level information: The database labels the entry “Level 10 Elyos” and separately recommends level 45; neither field confirms a hard level-45 lock.
This is an in-game quest progression, not a purchase or account upgrade. If your quest log shows different text, objectives, or availability, follow the client first and regard the database entry as a reference that may lag behind a patch.

How Elyos characters unlock Eternal Isle
1. Go to Ahtan in the Southwestern Tolbas Forest
Travel to the Southwestern Tolbas Forest and look for Ahtan at the cliff. The location matters: the access quest is associated with this NPC and this cliff, rather than with an Asmodian settlement or the Immortal Isle route.
When you arrive, interact with Ahtan and inspect the available quest text. Confirm that the quest points toward Eternal Isle before accepting it. Quest names and availability can change after updates, so use the name displayed by your client if it differs slightly from the database wording.
2. Complete the listed prerequisite, Draupnir
The Elyos entry identifies Draupnir as a required quest. If Ahtan does not offer the Eternal Isle objective, check whether Draupnir is unfinished, abandoned, or missing from your active quest list. Complete it as shown in your client, then return to the access quest chain.
Do not assume that simply visiting the forest or reaching the listed level completes this prerequisite. The requirement is quest-based, so the completion state in your character’s quest history is the relevant check.

After the prerequisite and the access quest are available, the listed route uses a Windstream to reach Eternal Isle. Read the objective text before entering the stream so you can distinguish the island-bound route from other Windstream destinations.
The database describes the Windstream as the transport step; it does not establish a separate item, fee, cooldown, or party requirement. Do not add those conditions to your checklist unless your live client explicitly displays them.
4. Collect one Eternal Drana Mutant bio-specimen
Once on Eternal Isle, the objective is to collect one Eternal Drana Mutant bio-specimen. The wording indicates a single specimen, not a general exploration requirement. Track the objective in your quest log and verify that the counter updates after the collection.
If the item does not register, reread the objective name in the client and make sure you are collecting the Eternal Isle target rather than a similarly named Drana Mutant item from another area. The available entry does not document a respawn timer, drop rate, or required combat method, so those details should come from the in-game objective and current patch behavior.

“Level 10 Elyos” is not proof of a level-10 entry rule
The quest page labels the entry “Level 10 Elyos,” but it also displays “Recommended level 45.” A database label can describe a quest category, starting level, or legacy classification; by itself, it does not demonstrate that a character can enter at level 10 or that level 10 is the minimum.
Use the wording in your client to determine whether the quest is currently offered. If the client blocks acceptance with a level message, that message is the operative rule for your character and patch. If it offers the quest below 45, the database’s recommendation should not be treated as a hard lock.
Level 45 is a recommendation, not a confirmed gate
The listing calls 45 the recommended level. That usually signals the level at which the content is expected to be more manageable, but the reviewed entry does not say “minimum level 45,” “required level 45,” or “entry denied below 45.” Do not tell players that level 45 is mandatory based on this field alone.
A sensible preparation rule is to treat 45 as a readiness target: reaching it may reduce the risk of entering content that is tuned above your current power. It remains separate from the access test itself, which is the quest availability, prerequisite completion, and Windstream route shown by the client.

Reading the two numbers as a single requirement creates two opposite errors. One player might assume level 10 guarantees access; another might grind to level 45 unnecessarily because the recommendation looks like a gate. The evidence supports neither conclusion. The safe interpretation is “Elyos quest entry with conflicting level metadata; verify the live quest log.”
Elyos and Asmodian routes are different
Asmodian characters have a separate counterpart quest called Immortal Isle’s Distinct Ecology. Its entry is associated with Nivena and the Immortal Isle, not Ahtan and Eternal Isle. The route also uses a Windstream and asks for one Immortal Isle Drana Mutant specimen.
These are faction-specific destinations and objectives. An Asmodian cannot use the Elyos checklist as a substitute, and an Elyos should not search for Nivena or the Immortal Isle quest when trying to unlock Eternal Isle.
| Faction | Quest entry | NPC | Destination | Collection objective |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Elyos | Eternal Isle access quest | Ahtan | Eternal Isle | One Eternal Drana Mutant bio-specimen |
| Asmodian | Immortal Isle’s Distinct Ecology | Nivena | Immortal Isle | One Immortal Isle Drana Mutant specimen |
The Asmodian entry reviewed here does not establish a matching hard level gate. Do not infer that the Elyos recommendation of 45 automatically applies to the Asmodian counterpart.

A practical pre-travel checklist
- Confirm your faction. Elyos characters should be following Ahtan and Eternal Isle; Asmodians should be looking for Nivena and Immortal Isle.
- Check the quest name in the client. Names can be localized or adjusted after an update.
- Review quest history. For Elyos, verify that Draupnir is complete rather than merely accepted.
- Inspect the level message. Record whether the client says a level is required or only displays a recommendation.
- Locate the Windstream objective. Make sure the route points to the correct island.
- Reserve space for the objective item. The listed collection target is one bio-specimen.
- Recheck the quest counter after collection. Do not leave until the objective updates or the client clearly confirms completion.
Troubleshooting when Eternal Isle is unavailable
Ahtan has no relevant quest
First verify that you are Elyos and are standing at the cliff in the Southwestern Tolbas Forest. Then check Draupnir in your quest history. If it is incomplete, finish it and return to Ahtan. If it is complete but the quest remains absent, compare the current client wording with the database entry and consider a patch-related change.
The game displays a different level requirement
Use the client’s explicit restriction for your character. The database’s “Level 10 Elyos” and “Recommended level 45” fields are already inconsistent, so a live message is more useful than trying to reconcile the two numbers yourself. Capture the exact wording if you need to report a discrepancy.
The Windstream does not lead to the expected island
Return to the quest objective and confirm that you accepted the correct faction quest. Eternal Isle belongs to the Elyos route described above; Immortal Isle belongs to the Asmodian counterpart. A destination mismatch usually indicates that the wrong quest or route is being followed.
The specimen objective does not complete
Check the item’s full name and make sure it is the Eternal Isle variant for the Elyos quest. The available information does not specify a drop table or timer, so rely on the target marker and objective text in the current client rather than assuming every Drana Mutant produces the required specimen.

The detailed quest information is from a fan-made database reporting AION 2 Global version 2.0.6.0, with a page update dated October 8, 2026. Quest prerequisites, NPC placement, level metadata, and Windstream destinations can change in later builds.
The official AION 2 site confirms the broader live-game context, but the material available for this access question does not independently confirm Eternal Isle’s specific requirements. For that reason, the client’s current quest log is the final authority when it conflicts with a database page.
The shortest reliable answer
For an Elyos character, start with Ahtan at the cliff in the Southwestern Tolbas Forest, complete Draupnir, use the Windstream to Eternal Isle, and collect one Eternal Drana Mutant bio-specimen. Treat level 45 as the database’s recommendation—not a verified hard entry requirement—and check your live quest log if any field differs.
