Capacity: what 207 litres means in daily use
Refrigerator compartment
The 140-litre refrigerator compartment is the larger half of the cabinet and is suited to basic fresh-food storage for one or two people, or as a secondary refrigerator. The number is a stated volume, not a promise of the shelf area you can actually use after shelves, bins and air gaps are installed. Tall bottles, large containers and bulky produce will consume space faster than the headline capacity suggests.
Freezer compartment
The 67-litre top freezer is relatively substantial for an extra-small refrigerator, but it remains a compact freezer. It can handle frozen meals, ice and a modest supply of meat or vegetables; it is unlikely to replace a separate chest or upright freezer for batch cooking. The freezer volume is published as gross capacity in the manual, so usable space will be lower once the ice maker and internal fittings are in place.

Dimensions and installation fit
Measure the cabinet and the route
The manual’s cabinet dimensions are 1,372 mm high, 545 mm wide and 623 mm deep. CHOICE’s rounded figures are 138 cm high, 55 cm wide and 63 cm deep. For planning, CHOICE lists a recommended installation envelope of 1,430 × 650 × 680 mm. - Measure the narrowest point of the opening, not just the skirting-board width. Compare it with the recommended installation envelope, leaving any extra clearance shown in the manual.
- Measure ceiling height, hallway width, stair turns and doorway lips. The appliance must fit its delivery route as well as its final position.
- Check the floor is level and strong enough for a refrigerator weighing approximately 48 kg according to the manual; a retailer listing gives 53 kg, so use the higher figure when planning handling.
- Open the refrigerator and freezer doors fully in the intended position. Check nearby walls, benches and cabinet handles will not block shelves or drawers.
- Confirm where the power outlet sits. The plug and cable must remain accessible without being crushed when the cabinet is pushed back.
Door swing and reversible hinge
The retailer lists a reversible door. That can help when the hinge side conflicts with a wall or worktop, but reversing a door is not the same as having unlimited clearance. The hinge change may require tools, correct spacer placement and a final door-seal check. Follow the manual’s procedure or have the seller or installer perform the change, then verify that the door closes evenly all the way around.

Ventilation matters
Do not size the appliance as though it were a built-in cabinet insert. Refrigerators reject heat through their cabinet and rear area; crowding those surfaces can increase running time and make temperature control less reliable. The manual’s installation diagrams and clearances take precedence over a generic measurement. If the niche cannot accommodate the recommended envelope, choose a model designed for that opening rather than forcing this one into place.

Documented features
Adjustable shelves and door storage
The retailer lists adjustable shelves, a half door rack and a sealed door compartment. Adjustable shelves help you trade shelf height for tall bottles or jugs, while the door racks keep frequently used smaller items within reach. Because the total cabinet is compact, plan the shelf positions around the containers you use most instead of assuming every shelf can hold a large upright bottle.
Humidity-control crisper
A humidity-control crisper is included in the retailer’s feature list. It is intended for produce that benefits from a more controlled environment than the main shelf area. It does not turn the compartment into a guarantee of longer freshness: overfilling, warm food and frequent door opening still affect results.
Slide chiller compartment
The slide chiller compartment provides a colder, dedicated area for items such as deli food or drinks. Its practical capacity is part of the refrigerator section, so using it reduces the flexible shelf area available for other groceries.
Twist ice maker
The retailer describes a removable twist ice maker as included. It is a manual ice-making accessory rather than an automatic plumbed dispenser. The same listing says the refrigerator has no water dispenser, so buyers should not expect chilled or filtered water from the door.

Electronic temperature control and LED lighting
The retailer lists electronic temperature control and LED interior lighting. Electronic controls make setting changes straightforward, while LED lighting improves visibility in a small cabinet. Neither feature establishes how evenly the cabinet holds temperature; that requires measured testing, which is not openly published for this model.
Energy, electrical and operating conditions
CHOICE lists claimed energy consumption of 335 kWh per year and 2.5 energy stars. A separate retailer specification sheet lists a two-star rating, so these figures should not be silently merged. To estimate electricity cost, multiply the verified annual kilowatt-hour figure by your electricity tariff; the result will vary by location, tariff and operating conditions. The 335 kWh/year number is a claimed label figure, not a guarantee of what every household will pay. Door-opening frequency, ambient heat, ventilation and thermostat settings all affect actual consumption.

The manual specifies 220–240 volts at 50 Hz, R600a refrigerant and tropical climate class T, with a stated ambient operating temperature of 43°C. Those specifications indicate the intended electrical system and hot-climate classification; they do not remove the need for proper ventilation or a suitable, protected power outlet. (product manual)

CHOICE records a 2020 test year for the ETM207W. Its public page does not show the Expert Rating or the individual results for food freshness, temperature stability, temperature evenness and range, response to outside temperature, default-setting performance, heat-load processing, running cost, warmest and coldest sections, noise, reliability or owner satisfaction. Checks before buying remaining stock
- Ask the seller to confirm that the exact model number is ETM207W and that the unit is physically in stock.
- Have the seller state whether it is new, ex-display, refurbished or used, and request photographs of the cabinet, door seal and interior fittings where appropriate.
- Confirm the delivered dimensions, delivery route, installation service, old-appliance removal and any surcharge for stairs or difficult access.
- Obtain the warranty terms in writing, including who handles service claims, whether parts and labour are included, and when coverage starts.
- Check the return and cancellation policy before dispatch. A discontinued refrigerator can be harder to exchange if a cosmetic or functional fault is found after delivery.
- Verify that the energy label, serial number and manual correspond to the unit being sold.
Warranty and support

Keep the tax invoice, serial number, delivery record and photographs of the appliance at arrival. If the seller cannot explain the support path, the nominal two-year period is less useful than it appears.
Setup checklist after delivery
- Inspect the carton and cabinet before signing for delivery, recording dents, scratches or a damaged door seal.
- Position the refrigerator using the installation clearances in the manual rather than pushing it tight against surrounding cabinetry.
- Level the cabinet so the doors align and the seals contact evenly.
- If the hinge side must be changed, follow the manual’s reversible-door instructions or arrange qualified installation.

- The 1,430 × 650 × 680 mm recommended installation envelope fits your space.
- You value a reversible door, adjustable shelving, a crisper and a manual ice maker more than advanced dispensing features.
- You can verify genuine stock and satisfactory warranty support despite the discontinued status.
Look elsewhere when
- You need a large fresh-food compartment or freezer for a family.
- You require independently published temperature, noise or reliability scores before buying.
- Your installation opening is close to the cabinet dimensions and cannot accommodate ventilation or door movement.
- You want an automatic water or ice dispenser, which this listing does not provide.

How to compare a replacement or alternative
