The model number matters when shopping. CHOICE’s larger figures are recommended installation dimensions for its listing, while the smaller figures describe the physical cabinet. Measure before delivery
- Measure the narrowest point of the opening, not just the skirting-board or benchtop width.
- Measure depth from the wall to the foremost obstruction, including trim, plumbing and power outlets.
- Measure height to the lowest obstruction and account for any uneven floor.

- Switch the appliance off and unplug it before working inside.
- Open the freezer door and place towels or a shallow tray where meltwater can collect.
- Let the ice soften naturally. Never chip at evaporator surfaces with a knife or other sharp tool.
- Use only a scraper approved by the manual, if one is supplied or specified.
- Wipe the compartment completely dry, clean removable parts, then restore power.
- Allow the freezer to return to operating temperature before restocking perishable food.
Do not pour boiling water into the compartment or use a heat gun. Sudden heat can damage liners, seals or refrigerant components, and water can reach electrical parts. If ice returns unusually quickly after a complete defrost, inspect the door seal, check that the cabinet is level and verify that the door closes without obstruction.
