The “cheat codes” page for Equinox: Homecoming does not provide a verifiable list of working gameplay codes. Its visible content instead makes unconfirmed claims about finding Kendra’s journal and decoding its pages. A Steam Community listing points to a player-made guide about the cipher, but its existence alone does not confirm the directions or answers.

Are there working Equinox: Homecoming cheat codes?

No verified gameplay codes appear in the visible content of the page titled “Cheat Codes.” The page, credited to a submitted contribution and marked updated May 26, 2025, describes Kendra’s journal and cipher, then gives generic instructions about entering codes. It does not name a specific code or identify a game version on which one was tested. See the Trainers City entry.

That distinction matters: generic advice about entering cheats is not evidence that a code exists for this game. Based on the available page content, there is no substantiated code to enter.

What is known about Kendra’s journal and cipher?

The Trainers City page claims that Kendra’s journal becomes available after “Hit the Ground” by speaking with Kyle and following the “Forest Caretaker” questline. It says the journal entries are on pages 5–12 and that the cipher appears on pages 6–11. It also presents a substitution alphabet and decoded messages. These are claims from that page, not confirmed in-game instructions or verified solutions.

Plan B Games Equinox Board Game (Green Version) - Strategic Betting and Creature Competition Game, Fun Family Game for Adults and Kids, Ages 10+, 2-5 Players, 40-60 Minute Playtime, Plan B Games
  • STRATEGY BOARD GAME: In Equinox, mysterious creatures gather in the forest in an effort to write themselves into the legendary storybook and for tales to be shared for countless generations. However, there is room for only four more stories — not every story will be recorded, so the creatures have to be cunning and clever to outwit their opponents and make the cut.
  • DEEPLY SATISFYING BETTING GAME: Each round, players place numbered power cards in front of the creatures, with the lowest-valued creature being eliminated from play. Players also place bets on which creatures they think will make it into the storybook, and you can use the special powers of these creatures to ideally turn things to your advantage.
  • A RE-THEMED VERSION OF AN OLD CLASSIC: Fans of Dr. Reiner Knizia might recognize Equinox as a revised edition of the previously released game Colossal Arena, but with two new creatures, revised gameplay, and new art.
  • HIGHLY VARIABLE: Of the 14 unique creature cards, only 8 are used per game, which means more than 3,000 different combinations are possible. This keeps each game feeling fresh and exciting as the possible contenders are always different.
  • NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This fun family board game is made for 2 to 5 players and is suitable for ages 10 and older. Average playtime is about 40 to 60 minutes.

There is a reason to be cautious about treating the published decoding as settled: the mapping shown on the page does not account for every letter used in all of its displayed cipher strings. Check the journal and current quest markers in your own game rather than relying on those steps or answers as established facts.

Is there a guide to Kendra’s cipher?

Steam Community search results list a player-created guide titled “How to solve Kendra’s Cipher (With Answers),” described as covering the journal and code. That listing is a useful lead if you want to find community discussion, but it does not establish that the guide’s route or solution is correct. Find Equinox: Homecoming community guides on Steam.

When evaluating any walkthrough, look for confirmation in the current game: matching quest names, journal pages, and cipher text are more useful than a heading promising answers. A guide that does not identify the game version or show how its solution matches the in-game text should be treated as provisional.
