Entitled is a digital service designed to help people in India discover government schemes and understand eligibility through a conversational AI interface. Its developer says the agent can use a person’s circumstances to explain potentially relevant schemes; that is a starting point for research, not proof that someone is entitled to a benefit. Confirm current conditions and application details through the official scheme source before acting.

What Entitled is—and what “built on Sanity” means

Entitled is software for discovering government benefits, not a physical product or a government-issued entitlement. Its official site presents benefit discovery and enrolment support as part of a broader employee-benefits offering (Entitled).

The developer describes a conversational agent that takes personal circumstances expressed in ordinary language, retrieves scheme information from structured Sanity content, and explains eligibility rules. Sanity is the content-management layer described in the project submission: the submission says scheme conditions, including exclusions, are represented as structured content for the agent to retrieve and explain. That description does not establish that Sanity itself determines eligibility or that the results have been independently checked.

How the conversational scheme search is described

The developer says users can ask questions in English or Kannada, follow up without restating all their circumstances, and share formatted results through WhatsApp. It also says the agent matches rules condition by condition, applies exclusion rules, and obtains application links from its dataset. These are developer-reported features; there is no independent accuracy evaluation or outcome study established here.

For example, a user might ask which schemes could apply to a widowed farmer in Karnataka with two school-age daughters and one acre of land. This is an illustration of the kind of question described by the developer, not a real applicant’s case or a verified eligibility result. An answer depends on the exact scheme rules and the applicant’s documented circumstances.

How it compares with official scheme discovery

myScheme is the Government of India’s official discovery platform for central, state, and Union Territory schemes. It describes personalized discovery based on demographic details, with information about eligibility, benefits, application procedures, required documents, and application URLs. Its FAQ also describes keyword search, categories, filters, recommendations, and an AI-powered chatbot (myScheme; myScheme FAQ).

India.gov.in also provides scheme information, including eligibility, benefits, and application processes (India.gov.in schemes). C-DAC, the R&D organization of MeitY, describes Samvad AI as a natural-language service for finding government-benefit information, with voice interaction and text-to-speech (C-DAC Samvad AI). These official resources offer other routes to scheme information; they do not validate Entitled’s answers.

How to use an AI result safely

  1. Describe your situation accurately. Include the state or Union Territory, relevant household details, and other facts the question asks about. Do not assume a conversational answer has captured every condition.
  2. Use the result as a lead. Note the scheme name and any stated criteria, exclusions, documents, or application link. If an answer is unclear, ask a specific follow-up rather than treating a broad summary as a decision.
  3. Open the official scheme or application page. Check the current eligibility rules, required documents, deadlines or other conditions, and application process there. India.gov.in and myScheme publish scheme details; the responsible scheme authority’s current page is the place to confirm terms before applying.
  4. Resolve mismatches with the responsible authority. If the official page differs from the AI explanation, or your circumstances do not fit a stated rule, rely on the current official terms and seek clarification from the relevant department or scheme administrator.

What is not established about Entitled

The available product description does not establish whether Entitled is currently deployed for general use, how often its scheme data is refreshed, or whether its eligibility outputs have been independently validated. It also does not establish that an AI-generated match guarantees approval, payment, or any legal entitlement. Treat the service as a way to navigate information, then verify the relevant rules through official channels.
