Enlisted Gold is the game’s premium currency. You can use it for Silver, a Premium account, soldiers and weaponry, soldier training, squad level-ups, the Elite Battle Pass, and the Golden Chest. The right choice depends on whether you want ongoing account benefits, a season’s rewards, a particular item, or a chance-based reward—and on whether you can finish the Battle Pass.
What can you buy with Enlisted Gold?
The official Gaijin Store’s Enlisted listing describes Gold as a way to obtain several kinds of in-game content and services:
- Silver: another in-game currency.
- Premium account: an account benefit, separate from the Battle Pass.
- Soldiers and weaponry: direct purchases of game content.
- Soldier training and squad level-ups: progression-related spending.
- Elite Battle Pass: a paid pass with seasonal rewards.
- Golden Chest: a chance-based source of squads, equipment, vehicles, and cosmetics, as described in Enlisted’s 16 June 2026 announcement.
Store contents and in-game availability can vary over time. Check the current in-game shop or regional store before buying a specific item.

How should you choose what to spend it on?
Start with the outcome you actually want, then weigh how predictable the purchase is and whether you will use its benefits. Official sources do not establish one best Gold purchase for every player.

| Your goal | Option to consider | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Benefits tied to your account | Premium account | Consider whether ongoing account benefits matter more to you than a specific item or seasonal rewards. The cited official listing names the option but does not establish a universal value comparison. |
| Seasonal rewards | Elite Battle Pass | The stated Gold surplus depends on completing the pass; consider your likelihood of finishing it and the season’s timing. |
| A particular item or progression step | Soldiers, weaponry, training, or squad level-ups | Check what is currently available and whether that specific purchase addresses your goal. |
| A chance at squads or other past content | Golden Chest | It is chance-based, and the announcement does not publish numeric odds in the text reviewed. |
| More of another in-game currency | Silver | Compare the current in-game offer with what you need Silver for before converting premium currency. |
Is the Elite Battle Pass worth buying with Gold?
Gaijin Support lists the Elite Battle Pass at 900 Gold and says that completing it returns enough Gold to cover its cost, with 100 Gold left over. That surplus is conditional on full completion, not an unconditional refund. If you are unlikely to complete the pass, do not assume you will recover the stated amount.
The Battle Pass is not the same as a Premium account. Gaijin Support explicitly says the two are not tied together and offer different bonuses. Choose between them based on the benefits you want rather than treating one as an upgrade to the other.

When can you unlock Gold rewards?
According to Gaijin Support’s Battle Pass guidance, Gold reward unlocking is not available at the start of a season; it becomes available after a delay. Unlock prices also rise as you progress. Since seasonal rules can change, check the current pass screen for the applicable timing and costs.
As historical context, Enlisted’s 25 November 2024 format announcement also gave 900 Gold as the Elite Battle Pass price and described a 100-Gold surplus for full completion. For current mechanics, the support page is the more direct reference.

What does the Golden Chest offer?
In an announcement dated 16 June 2026, Enlisted said the Golden Chest has a higher chance of dropping a squad than the Silver Chest. It may also contain event squads, premium squads removed from the store and in-game shop, older event or Battle Pass weapons and vehicles, and cosmetics. The announcement provides no numeric drop probabilities in its text, so the relative chance cannot be translated into a reliable expected value from that source alone.
That makes the chest a different kind of choice from directly buying a named item: its contents are chance-based, and its pool may change with updates. Review the current chest description in-game before spending Gold if you are seeking a particular reward.

A quick decision checklist
- Want seasonal rewards? Consider the Elite Battle Pass only after checking the current season’s rewards and judging whether you can complete it.
- Want a specific item or progression benefit? Check whether soldiers, weaponry, training, or a squad level-up currently offers what you need.
- Want a chance at older or event content? The Golden Chest may include such items, but its published announcement does not provide exact odds.
- Unsure what you want? Avoid spending Gold simply because it is available; first compare the current options against your goals.
