For most buyers who do not need Intel vPro, the best-value starting point is HP’s US-listed EliteBook X Flip G2i 14 with a Core Ultra 7 356H, 24 GB of onboard memory and a 512 GB SSD (product number DC4E6UA#ABA). It is a sensible default for everyday productivity, meetings and convertible touch use—not a universal winner. Choose it only if its local price is competitive and its screen, wireless configuration and storage fit your needs.
Why the 356H with 24 GB and 512 GB is the default
HP’s US shop listing identifies product number DC4E6UA#ABA as a configuration with Windows 11 Pro, an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H, 24 GB of memory, a 512 GB SSD and a 14-inch WUXGA touchscreen. HP lists the 356H as a 16-core, 16-thread processor with up to 4.7 GHz and 18 MB of cache on its regional specification page. The 24 GB/512 GB model is the value-oriented choice among the 356H configurations surfaced on that US listing. Check HP’s US listing for DC4E6UA#ABA.
The combination avoids paying upfront for more memory or storage than many routine workloads need while retaining the 356H tier. That makes it a practical place to start if your work is mainly documents, browser tabs, video meetings and touch-enabled convertible use. The recommendation depends on the price you find locally and the exact configuration offered there.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsWhen to choose more memory or storage
HP describes the memory as onboard and lists no memory slots in its support specifications. Treat RAM capacity as a purchase-time decision rather than planning on a routine memory upgrade. HP lists 16, 24, 32 and 64 GB onboard memory configurations, as well as SSD options from 512 GB up to 2 TB. HP’s support specifications provide the available ranges.

- Stay with 24 GB and 512 GB for general productivity and a mostly cloud-based or modest local file library, if the price is favorable.
- Consider 32 GB and 1 TB if your work routinely uses more memory or you keep large projects, media or other files on the laptop. HP’s US listing names a 356H/32 GB/1 TB configuration as DC4E7UA#ABA.
- Consider 64 GB or a larger SSD only when your applications or local storage needs justify the added capacity and the local price premium. HP lists options up to 64 GB of onboard memory and 2 TB SSD.
Compare the actual price difference before paying for the higher-capacity configuration. The specifications establish that these capacities are available, not that a particular upgrade premium is worthwhile in every market.
How to confirm the laptop really has non-vPro wireless
Do not infer vPro status from the processor name alone. HP’s support specifications list both vPro and non-vPro versions of its Intel BE211 Wi-Fi 7 card, so wireless is a configuration detail to verify on the specific product listing or quote.

HP’s Philippines specification page for product E7XC8PA documents one regional Core Ultra 7 356H example with non-vPro Wi-Fi 7. That SKU has 32 GB of onboard LPDDR5x-9600 memory and a 512 GB NVMe SSD, so it demonstrates that a non-vPro 356H configuration exists; it is not the same capacity configuration as US product DC4E6UA#ABA. See HP’s Philippines specifications for E7XC8PA.
Before buying, check the full regional SKU and its wireless line for an explicit non-vPro designation. If the seller’s listing does not say, ask for the exact product number or wireless-card specification rather than assuming.

Check the display and ports on your regional SKU
Screen specifications vary by configuration and region. HP’s regional specifications include 400-nit WUXGA touch IPS panels with low-power characteristics and 100% sRGB, as well as privacy display options. Compare the exact listing’s brightness, resolution, touch support, surface and privacy features; do not assume the Philippines E7XC8PA panel description applies to the US DC4E6UA#ABA.
HP’s support specifications list two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, another USB-C port, USB-A and HDMI. Optional WWAN must be factory-configured and requires separate activation or service; its availability varies by country or region. If mobile broadband or a particular port arrangement matters to your setup, verify it on the exact SKU before ordering.

Which other configurations are worth considering?
HP’s US listing surfaces Core Ultra 5 325, Core Ultra 7 356H and Core Ultra 7 366H options, with different memory and SSD capacities. The evidence supports comparing those choices by workload and local price rather than declaring one configuration best for every buyer.

A practical pre-purchase check
- Find the exact product number on the retailer or HP listing; regional model names alone may not identify the full configuration.
- Confirm the processor, onboard memory and SSD capacity against your workload and local upgrade pricing.
- Check the wireless specification explicitly for non-vPro Wi-Fi if that is a requirement.
- Compare screen brightness, resolution, touch, surface and any privacy display feature on that SKU.
- Confirm warranty, stock and any factory-configured WWAN or other regional options with the local seller.
