Funereal Night Spectral Steed Attire is a cosmetic appearance for Torrent found in Altus Plateau. The pickup is in the graveyard outside Leyndell; after collecting it, rest at a Site of Grace and choose the steed-appearance option to equip it. Access to the attire is reported to require the Tarnished Pack, so check that the pack is included with or available for your game edition and platform.
What you need before looking
- Tarnished Pack access: NerdsChalk reports that the pack is required. Its availability can depend on platform and edition, so verify your current entitlement before making the trip.
- Altus Plateau access: The pickup is in this region, near Leyndell’s outer wall.
- No specified build or boss requirement: The cited location guide and Bandai Namco’s notes do not state a required character stat, quest, or boss defeat.
Bandai Namco’s Version 1.17 patch notes identify the official item name and broad location: “Funereal Night Spectral Steed Attire: Found in Altus Plateau.” The more precise graveyard route below comes from a location guide, rather than the patch notes.
Where to find Funereal Night Attire
Use Hermit Merchant’s Shack or Outer Wall Battleground as a nearby route reference. From there, ride southeast into the graveyard outside Leyndell. Look among the large gravestones and head toward the stairs on the eastern side. The pickup is in front of an upright sword that stands slightly apart from a cluster of other upright swords.

- Ride southeast into the outer-wall graveyard. Search the upright-sword cluster for the item in front of the sword set slightly apart from the others.
- Rest at a Site of Grace. Open the steed-appearance option and select Funereal Night.
Bandai Namco says obtaining any Spectral Steed Attire adds the option to change the spectral steed’s appearance at a Site of Grace. If the appearance option is not available, first confirm that the attire pickup registered in your inventory and that your game has the required pack entitlement.
What the attire changes
It changes Torrent’s appearance; it is not described as a gameplay upgrade. The location guide says the attire does not change Torrent’s stats. Neither the patch notes nor the guide provides a measured stat benefit.
