The Edwards & Co Oscar M2 is a three-wheel stroller with a stated 22 kg child limit, but newborn use requires a separately sold insert. Publicly available information gives useful specifications, not enough detail to judge how it performed in independent safety, durability or usability testing. Before buying, confirm the newborn setup, folded fit, exact model compatibility, condition and warranty for your region.
What the Oscar M2 offers
CHOICE lists the Oscar M2 as a three-wheel stroller with a reversible seat, three recline positions in both forward- and rear-facing modes, a front bar and linked rear brakes. These are listing specifications, not a substitute for checking the exact stroller and its manual.

All figures in the table are specifications on CHOICE’s Oscar M2 listing. The dimensions are not folded measurements, so they cannot establish whether the stroller fits a particular car boot or storage space.
Can you use it from birth?
CHOICE says newborn use requires a separately sold newborn insert. A third-party-hosted copy of the Oscar M2 use-and-care guide identifies model EC101-2 and describes use from six months to 22 kg without the Newborn Insert Cushion, or from newborn to 22 kg with it. The manual copy is not hosted on the manufacturer’s live official manual page, so check the documentation for the specific stroller batch and insert before relying on that age range.

Do not assume a carry cot or capsule adapter is included, or that an accessory advertised for another Oscar generation fits the M2. Confirm the exact item, compatibility and what is included with the seller. The accessible sources do not establish compatibility across every M2 version.
What independent testing is publicly available?
CHOICE lists 2023 as the Oscar M2 test year. Its public page does not disclose the Expert Rating, pros and cons, performance score, ease-of-use scores, or safety and durability results; those details require member access. The public information therefore does not support a claim that the stroller passed or failed a particular test, or a verdict about its tested performance.

The third-party manual mirror says the model was independently tested to AS/NZS 2088:2013. That is a statement reproduced from a manual copy, not confirmation of current compliance for every unit. For a safety or compliance question, consult the official documentation for the exact batch and the requirements that apply where you live.
Will it fit your car and suit your use?
Check the folded dimensions for the exact Oscar M2 variant against your car boot and home storage space. Edwards & Co’s Australian collection page advises buyers to check each model’s folded dimensions on its individual product page, but the available evidence does not establish a reliable folded measurement for the M2. Measure your usable space rather than inferring fit from its assembled dimensions or another owner’s experience.

For an all-terrain or everyday stroller decision, compare the M2 with alternatives using the configuration and conditions that matter to you. Edwards & Co currently describes Oscar Nu as an updated all-rounder drawing on Oscar M2 and Lucci as a travel stroller; these are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not independent head-to-head findings.
- Newborn setup: identify whether you need the insert, a carry cot or capsule adapters, and check what is included.
- Fit and lifting: compare folded dimensions with your boot and storage area, and consider whether an 11 kg stroller is practical for you to lift.
- Capacity: consider the listed 22 kg child limit and 10 kg basket capacity in relation to your needs.
- Use conditions: check wheel configuration and intended terrain against where you expect to use it.
- Ownership: confirm condition, warranty, local parts support and the price with required accessories included.
Price, availability and buying checks
Prices and stock evidence are snapshots of different listings, not a current market survey. CHOICE lists A$899. On the Edwards & Co Australian storefront, a Slate Grey damaged-packaging listing showed A$749, reduced from A$999, and was marked sold out when accessed. Other damaged-packaging and ex-showroom M2 listings in the manufacturer’s catalogue were also marked sold out, while refurbished inventory was listed separately. These records do not establish a live price or standard-new offer.

Confirm those terms directly with the seller before purchase, especially for refurbished or ex-display stock.
