Display: Motorola specifies higher resolution and refresh rate
Motorola lists a 1.5K pOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10/10+ support. Samsung identifies the M36 panel as Super AMOLED; check the exact resolution and refresh rate on its product page before comparing those figures, since the available launch material cited here does not provide them.
On the stated specifications, the Edge 60 Fusion has a clear documented advantage in resolution and refresh rate. Those figures describe the display, not a guarantee that every viewer will prefer its color tuning or that apps and content will run at 120 Hz all the time.
Battery: capacity is not a runtime test
The Edge 60 Fusion is listed with a 5,500 mAh battery, compared with 5,000 mAh for the Galaxy M36. That is a 500 mAh capacity difference, but it does not establish which phone lasts longer: screen settings, processor use, network conditions and software all affect endurance. Cameras: compare the hardware, not the megapixel totals
Motorola specifies a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide/macro camera and a 32 MP front camera. Samsung promotes a 50 MP OIS triple-camera setup, but the launch announcement cited here does not give the full resolution breakdown for the other rear cameras or a front-camera figure.

Both manufacturers list optical image stabilization for the main camera. Megapixel counts and camera labels do not show which phone produces better photos; that requires comparable image testing in the same conditions. The cited specifications do not establish a photo-quality winner.

Software support and durability
Samsung says the Galaxy M36 will receive six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. This is a manufacturer-stated commitment, not a fixed rollout schedule for every user, carrier or region. The sources cited here do not establish a matching Motorola support-duration promise, so a precise support-length comparison would be unsupported.

Samsung’s 2025 launch announcement said the Galaxy M36 would go on sale from July 12, 2025 through Samsung.com, Amazon and select retailers. That is historical channel information, not confirmation of current stock. Motorola’s India storefront currently lists the Edge 60 Fusion, but availability and displayed price should be checked at the point of purchase.
