For Irish buyers, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S list the Standard Edition at €79.99, while a Switch 2 physical promotion was observed at €59.99. That €20 difference compares digital console-store pricing with a promotional physical copy, so it is not a permanent Switch 2 MSRP advantage. Switch 2 is the cheaper observed option and supports The Grounds and Clubs, while PS5 and Xbox offer the listed 4K, HDR10 and 60 fps+ capabilities on Xbox and a conventional digital purchase.
EA FC 27 release and the Irish price snapshot

The Irish listings below were observed in 2026. The comparison is useful for deciding where to shop, but it mixes digital and physical channels and includes temporary promotions.

Which versions include The Grounds and Clubs?
EA states that certain content and features, including The Grounds mode and Clubs, are available only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. That makes Switch 2 the Nintendo version to choose if these modes matter.
- PS5: The Grounds and Clubs supported.
- Xbox Series X|S: The Grounds and Clubs supported.
- Nintendo Switch 2: The Grounds and Clubs supported.
- PC: The Grounds and Clubs supported.
- PS4 and Xbox One: The Grounds and Clubs are not available.
- Original Nintendo Switch: EA’s stated availability list does not include The Grounds or Clubs for this version.
All Standard Editions still provide the full game and core modes at launch, but the mode-specific limitation is important when comparing Switch and Switch 2 copies.

Graphics, frame-rate and multiplayer information
Xbox Series X|S
The Xbox Ireland store listing advertises 4K Ultra HD, HDR10 and 60 fps+, along with cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform co-op. These are capabilities stated in the store metadata, not the result of an independent performance test; display output also depends on compatible hardware and settings.

PS5
PS5 receives the current-generation version and the same EA-defined access to The Grounds and Clubs. The Irish PlayStation listing establishes the €79.99 Standard Edition price, but the supplied Irish listing does not provide an independent frame-rate or resolution measurement.
Rank #3
Switch 2
Switch 2 receives The Grounds and Clubs while adding the portability of Nintendo’s newer console. The observed €59.99 copies are physical retail promotions, so availability can change independently of the digital-store prices.
Switch 2 local and online play requirements
Nintendo’s product information lists these multiplayer configurations for the Switch 2 release:
Rank #4
- Standard Edition for PlayStation 5 (disc) includes the full EA SPORTS College Football 27 game.
- DYNASTY BLUEPRINT – Control your program’s future with recruiting, NIL, staff, facilities, and Athletic Director Expectations..
- ROAD TO GLORY – Build your player, explore new positions, earn NIL deals, chase the Heisman, and raise your Legacy Score.
- MASCOT MASHUP – Play as your favorite mascot, collect 120+ icons, and compete in wild 11-on-11 matchups full of school spirit.
