The Dreame Matrix10 Pro is a robot vacuum and mop built around a dock that automatically swaps among three pairs of mop assemblies for different rooms or cleaning jobs. In PCWorld’s August 27, 2026 review, Michael Ansaldo found strong vacuuming and capable mopping, but not cleaning results noticeably better than other premium robot mops he had used. Its main advantage is keeping tasks separate; its trade-offs are a $1,499.99 U.S. review price, longer runs when the robot returns to change mops, and more upkeep.

What does the Matrix10 Pro’s mop-swapping system do?

The dock stores three color-coded pairs of mop assemblies. The robot returns to the dock to leave one pair and pick up another using an internal shuttle. Room mapping and app assignments help determine which set it uses, so a household can assign different mop types to different areas or tasks.

  • Mop A: Nylon bristles intended for greasy floors.
  • Mop B: Absorbent pads intended for bathrooms and damp areas.
  • Mop C: Thermal pads intended for routine cleaning and wood floors.

Dreame describes the station as a multi-mop switching dock and says it has compartments for three detergents. The manufacturer recommends its official cleaning solutions to avoid potential damage. [Dreame’s U.S. Matrix10 Pro product page]

The practical benefit is task separation—not proof that each floor gets cleaner than it would with a conventional premium robot mop. Whether the feature is useful depends on whether you will assign distinct mop sets and value keeping those cleaning jobs compartmentalized.

How well does it vacuum and mop?

In PCWorld reviewer Michael Ansaldo’s home test, reported August 27, 2026, the floors were mostly laminate, with one large area rug and three cats. He said the robot picked up dust, cat hair, crumbs, and dry pet food with little left behind. Its extending side brush swept along walls and corners, and he did not have to cut hair from either roller. He also found carpet detection dependable in his use.

Ansaldo reported that dried spills and routine kitchen grime came up easily. Sticky residue took more water and multiple passes. These are observations from one home, not controlled lab measurements or a guarantee for other homes, floor types, or messes. [PCWorld’s review by Michael Ansaldo]

His overall assessment was that the Matrix10 Pro’s cleaning results were not noticeably better than those of other premium robot mops he had used. The system’s distinction was the ability to keep different cleaning jobs more separate, rather than a demonstrated leap in pickup or mopping performance.

What does it cost, and what does ownership involve?

PCWorld listed a U.S. price of $1,499.99 in its August 27, 2026 review. Dreame’s U.S. product page also displayed $1,499.99 when accessed October 7, 2026. These are dated price snapshots, not a guaranteed current offer; check the live price and local availability before buying.

Swapping mop sets adds dock trips and time to mopping runs. Owners also have three solution reservoirs and six mop assemblies to manage. The dock automates washing, drying, dust emptying, and water refilling, but it does not eliminate routine maintenance: Ansaldo says the dirty-water tank should be emptied after each job to prevent odors, and removable washboard and filter parts need rinsing.

PCWorld’s August 2026 review reported one-liter replacement bottles at $26.99 for multi-surface cleaner and $21.99 each for pet-odor and wood-floor formulas, or $70.97 to restock all three at those reported prices. The review said each larger bottle should provide about five refills. These are review-era prices, not verified current prices.

Which specifications are manufacturer claims?

Dreame’s U.S. product page lists 30,000 Pa suction, 100°C mop self-cleaning, and obstacle clearance of up to 4 cm. These are manufacturer-stated specifications, not measurements established by Ansaldo’s home review. The stated 100°C figure describes the self-cleaning process; Dreame says the mop temperature settles within 30–40°C after one minute, with a peak of 40°C. It does not mean the robot mops floors at 100°C.

The same description reports 5.5-liter clean-water and 4-liter dirty-water tanks, an 80 ml onboard reservoir, a 250 ml robot dustbin, and a 3.2-liter disposable dust bag. These are product-description figures, not independent performance findings. [PCWorld’s review and product description]

How should you compare it with the Matrix10 Ultra?

A Dreame Robot comparison page presents a euro-market snapshot based on manufacturer technical documentation recorded July 12, 2026, and states that it is not based on a physical test. It lists both the Matrix10 Pro and Ultra at €899, 30,000 Pa suction for each, 4 cm obstacle clearance for the Pro versus 8 cm for the Ultra, and a simpler Pro station versus an Ultra station with three solution compartments. Those figures are regional and dated; they do not establish current prices in other markets or comparative cleaning performance. [Dreame Robot’s comparison]

For a purchase decision, compare the models on the features that affect your home: obstacle clearance, navigation, station and solution capacity, mop-switching behavior, local price, and whether you will use separate mop assignments. The euro-market comparison is not a like-for-like hands-on test, so its figures alone do not make either model the better buy for every household.

Who should buy the Matrix10 Pro?

Consider it if

  • You want separate mop sets for areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, pet zones, and wood floors.
  • The hygiene and convenience of keeping those tasks compartmentalized matter more to you than minimizing cost or cleaning time.
  • You are comfortable managing multiple mop assemblies and cleaning solutions, along with the dock’s routine maintenance.

Look elsewhere if

  • Your priority is strong vacuum pickup and routine mopping at the lowest practical price. Ansaldo says he found comparable cleaning performance in less expensive options.
  • You do not expect to use distinct mop assignments; in that case, the defining feature may not justify the added cost and upkeep.

Before deciding, check the current local price, the dock’s footprint, how often your room plan would trigger a mop change, and the cost and availability of compatible supplies. Exact replacement part numbers and current compatible listings are not established here, so do not assume generic pads or cleaners will fit or be suitable.
