You can get Dr. Eggman in Fortnite either by purchasing any edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds through the Epic Games Store or by buying the Dr. Eggman Bundle in the Fortnite Shop. Epic announced both options would begin August 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM ET. The game-purchase offer is available while the game remains for sale on the Epic Games Store; Epic’s cited information does not confirm whether the bundle is currently in the live Shop.

For the Epic Games Store route, the purchase must be made through that storefront. Epic’s support page says any edition qualifies and that the purchase date does not affect eligibility. Epic also says gifting the game through the Epic Games Store grants the cosmetics to the recipient. Read Epic Games Store’s offer details.

How to get the items to appear across your platforms
Epic says the cosmetics can appear in your Fortnite Locker across platforms when you sign in with the relevant Epic account on PC or mobile, or link your console accounts to that Epic account. Check that the account used for Fortnite is the one associated with the eligible purchase.

What happens if you already own the bundle or refund the game?
If you already own the Fortnite bundle and then make a qualifying Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds purchase through the Epic Games Store, Epic says it will grant 2,000 V-Bucks once instead of another copy of the bundle. If you refund the qualifying game purchase, Epic says it removes the Fortnite bundle or the V-Bucks grant. Epic’s FAQ also says V-Bucks refunds apply only to bundles purchased within the previous 12 months. See Epic’s Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds FAQ for its offer and account conditions.
Epic’s support page also describes a 2,000 V-Bucks alternative when a gifted game’s recipient already owns the bundle. Review Epic’s current eligibility terms before purchasing or gifting if you or the recipient already has the cosmetics.
