The available reporting does not establish the Dow Jones futures move behind this headline, an agreed Russia-Ukraine energy ceasefire, or the next earnings dates for ASML, Nvidia and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC). An indexed news page says Donald Trump claimed an energy truce, while describing Kyiv’s position as conditional—not as acceptance of a deal. Treat the headline’s market and earnings details as unconfirmed until they are tied to dated market data, official statements and company schedules.
Did Russia and Ukraine agree to an energy ceasefire?
Not on the evidence available here. An indexed news aggregation page describes Trump as claiming an energy truce and says Kyiv had not yet agreed. It also lists a Reuters headline saying Ukraine would support an energy ceasefire if the United States ensured Moscow’s intent. That points to conditional support, not a confirmed agreement or an implemented halt in attacks. The aggregation page does not establish the underlying statements’ precise dates or provide enough detail to verify the terms.
The same page lists a Reuters headline, “Russia and Ukraine press on with energy strikes despite Trump.” Because the underlying article was not retrieved, that listing alone does not establish which strikes occurred or when. It does, however, reinforce why a claim of a truce should not be reported as proof that attacks stopped.

No futures level, percentage move, contract, timestamp or trading session is established in the available material. It therefore cannot show whether futures rose or fell, or whether a move was caused by the truce claim. A headline linking a geopolitical development and futures does not, by itself, establish that the event drove the market.
#1 Best Overall
To assess a specific move, look for a dated quote for the relevant Dow futures contract and note when it was captured. Futures can be quoted outside regular stock-market hours, so the timestamp and session matter. A separate report would be needed to support any explanation of why prices moved.
When do ASML, Nvidia and TSMC report earnings?
The available evidence does not verify these companies’ upcoming reporting dates, earnings estimates or results. It cannot support a calendar or a comparison of what investors expect. Confirm dates on each company’s investor-relations site or through a reliable earnings calendar before relying on them.
For a useful comparison, align the companies’ reporting periods and keep three different measures separate: results already reported, management guidance and analyst expectations. Without verified dates and figures for the same periods, the claim that earnings are “looming” does not establish which report comes first or what the market expects.
Keep the Iran headline separate
A separate search result describes Trump’s claim about discussions with Iran and a pause in threatened strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure. That concerns a different conflict and does not verify a Russia-Ukraine truce or explain Dow futures. The Iran-related report should not be used as evidence for the Russia-Ukraine claim.
