No. The DOOM Eternal lore reviewed here does not identify Doomguy—the DOOM Slayer—as having a son. The son in the game’s key revelation belongs to Commander Valen, known as the Betrayer, and becomes the Icon of Sin.
Who is the Icon of Sin’s father?
The DOOM Eternal codex entry, reproduced by the DOOM Wiki, says the Icon of Sin was “Born from the tortured spirit of the Betrayer’s son.” It describes Commander Valen’s bargain to bring his dead son back to life. The son returned as the Icon of Sin, not as a human; the codex says the Icon’s heart remains connected to his former humanity.

That makes Valen—not Doomguy or the Slayer—the father in this story. The Icon of Sin’s origin is the likely source of confusion when readers ask whether Doomguy has a son.
What does the wider DOOM context establish?
Bethesda describes DOOM: The Dark Ages as a prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal. That places DOOM Eternal within the modern series, but Bethesda’s page does not address Doomguy’s paternity. The family relationship described above comes from the Eternal codex text.

How certain is the answer?
The cited codex text identifies Valen’s son; it does not identify the Slayer as a father. This supports answering “no” based on the relevant DOOM Eternal lore, but it is not proof about every DOOM publication, unused line, or future installment. The available transcription is secondary rather than an official transcript, so the exact wording should be checked against the in-game codex if a verbatim quotation is needed.
