Dongshan Precision is reported to be seeking US$2 billion to US$3 billion in a proposed Hong Kong listing, but that is a target—not a confirmed amount raised. The latest consulted report, dated October 11, 2026, says the Shenzhen-listed manufacturer passed the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board listing hearing. The final offer size, price and timetable were not established in the reporting available at that time.
How much is Dongshan Precision seeking to raise?
The Standard, citing Bloomberg, reported on September 29, 2026, that the proposed Hong Kong share sale could raise US$2 billion to US$3 billion. South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported the next day that the company initially aimed to raise up to US$3 billion, citing unnamed sources. Both reports said the terms could change. These figures describe reported fundraising targets, not a final offer or completed raise.
SCMP also reported that Dongshan had received approval from China’s securities regulator, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), to issue up to 234 million shares in Hong Kong. That is a reported maximum, not confirmation that the company will offer all 234 million shares.

NewTimeSpace reported on October 11, 2026, that Dongshan Precision had passed the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) Main Board listing hearing. A hearing milestone is not the start of trading: the consulted reports do not establish that the offer had opened for bookbuilding or that the shares had begun trading.
#1 Best Overall
SCMP and The Standard described an October target for opening order books, while noting the schedule could move. The reports do not confirm that bookbuilding opened. HKEX’s application-proof index lists an application proof dated May 19, 2026; that earlier filing is not final offer documentation or evidence of final terms.
Which details remain unconfirmed?
The reporting available through October 11, 2026, does not establish the final deal size, offer price, bookbuilding dates, allocation of shares, actual proceeds or how the company would use the money. Those details should not be inferred from the reported fundraising target, share ceiling or hearing result.
What does Dongshan Precision make?
Dongshan Precision manufactures printed circuit boards (PCBs), optical transceivers, precision components, touch panels and liquid crystal modules. The reported end markets include smartphones, PCs, automobiles, data centers, telecommunications, industrial equipment and Internet of Things devices.

The outlet identifies optical transceivers and AI-related PCBs for data centers as growth drivers; that is its characterization, not a confirmed forecast of future performance.
NewTimeSpace, citing CIC, reported that Dongshan ranked third globally among PCB suppliers by 2025 revenue, in a global PCB market valued at US$85.2 billion. The same report said it ranked seventh among optical transceiver suppliers, with a 2.9% share of a US$24.5 billion market in 2025. These are reported industry rankings and market estimates, not details of the proposed share sale.

Dongshan is already listed in Shenzhen, so the proposed Hong Kong transaction would be an additional listing rather than the company’s first public listing. Passing the HKEX hearing is a progress milestone, but it does not establish that an offer will proceed on a particular date or at a particular size.
Rank #4
For historical context only, HKEX reported that 71 companies listed in Hong Kong in 2024 and raised HK$88.0 billion, a 90% increase in fundraising from 2023. That 2024 figure is not a measure of Hong Kong’s 2026 IPO market and does not confirm anything about Dongshan’s offering.
