Yes. Walmart’s Wi-Fi terms describe complimentary wireless access for customers and other eligible people at facilities where service is available. It is not guaranteed at every store, and Walmart does not promise a particular speed, signal strength, range, or uninterrupted connection.
Is Walmart Wi-Fi free?
Walmart says it provides the service on a complimentary basis. Your mobile carrier or another provider that supports your device may still charge you under your own plan. Walmart’s Wi-Fi Terms of Use also make access subject to availability and operational limits.
Who can use Walmart Wi-Fi?
The terms list current customers, guests, associates, service providers, and employees or guests of Walmart tenants as eligible users. You must be authorized to be at the facility and use the service there. The terms say you accept them by clicking an acceptance prompt or by accessing or using the service. Walmart Wi-Fi Terms of Use

Walmart’s terms do not specify a universal network name or login sequence. At a store, enable Wi-Fi on your device, look for a Walmart network, and follow an on-screen acceptance prompt if one appears. The network name, setup, and availability may vary by location.

Is Wi-Fi available at every Walmart store?
Walmart’s terms do not guarantee Wi-Fi at each individual location, and the reviewed customer FAQ does not provide a store-by-store status list. Service can be interrupted temporarily or permanently; the terms do not promise any particular speed, bandwidth, signal strength, or range. To check a specific store, ask an associate or contact Walmart customer support at 1-800-925-6278.
What should you know about privacy and security?
Walmart says it may receive device identifiers, including MAC and IP addresses, and real-time location while a device accesses the Wi-Fi service. It describes using this information for service delivery, troubleshooting, security, administration, and compliance. The terms warn that public wireless communication carries risks; they do not establish that every transmission is unencrypted or characterize the security configuration of every connection.
