- Saving was added or changed through an update published on January 7, 2024.
- The save process is automatic rather than a documented manual-save command.
- The update explicitly names paintings acquired in each area as saved data.
- It also explicitly names progress in the crow quests.
The wording “under certain circumstances” is important. The patch note does not define every trigger, timing rule, menu action, or shutdown condition. It would be inaccurate to promise that every action is written immediately or that any particular point in a level is a guaranteed checkpoint.
Automatic saving is not Steam Cloud
An in-game save normally means the game writes progress on the computer where it is running. SteamDB’s feature record does not list Steam Cloud for this title. - On the second PC, sign in to the same Steam account and install the Windows version, but do not assume the previous state will appear unless an actual save file or supported synchronization method is present.

What happens if a save seems missing?
First confirm that you are using the same Windows user account and Steam account, then check whether the game is installed on the computer where the original session was played.
