No—not ESPN’s main channel in Samsung TV Plus’s U.S. lineup. Samsung does list ESPN8: The Ocho, a separate channel, and offers the ESPN app separately. Finding ESPN8 in the TV Plus guide does not mean ESPN’s main networks are included.
What ESPN-related options are on Samsung?
| Option | Where it appears | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| ESPN8: The Ocho | Samsung TV Plus U.S. sports lineup | A specifically named TV Plus channel; it is not the same listing as ESPN’s main channel. |
| ESPN app | Samsung’s separate U.S. app listing | Samsung describes the app as offering live events and shows from ESPN networks, as well as ESPN+ subscriber content. The listing does not establish the access terms for every event. |
Samsung describes TV Plus as a free, ad-supported service. That does not make content in the separate ESPN app free: a particular event may have its own subscription or TV-provider login requirements. Check the event’s current access terms in the app.
How to check your Samsung TV Plus lineup
- Open Samsung TV Plus on your device.
- Open the channel guide and look for ESPN8: The Ocho or other sports channels. Samsung says the guide shows current programs and the future schedule.
- To check for ESPN’s separate app, open the Samsung app store on your device and search for ESPN. Check that device’s listing for availability and requirements.
Samsung’s U.S. pages describe the U.S. lineup and app listing; they do not establish availability on every Samsung model or in every country. Channel catalogs are localized and can change, so use the guide and app store for your own region and device.

Where can you watch ESPN on a Samsung TV?
If you want ESPN network programming, look for the separate ESPN app rather than treating ESPN8 as a substitute. Samsung’s app listing describes live events and shows from ESPN networks and ESPN+ content, but it does not say that every event is included without payment or authentication. Verify the requirements for the specific event you want to watch.
