No official Fallout 5 gameplay teaser is confirmed. In a July 17, 2026 update, Bethesda Game Studios said the game is in preproduction and remains a “long-range destination.” The studio did not announce or link to gameplay footage in that update.
What Bethesda has confirmed about Fallout 5
Bethesda’s July 17, 2026 note says, “Fallout 5 is currently in preproduction,” and describes it as the studio’s “long-range destination.” Bethesda also says it is developing the game on Creation Engine 3, alongside The Elder Scrolls VI.
The studio identifies The Elder Scrolls VI as its primary development focus and says most of its team is working on that game. Bethesda’s note gives no Fallout 5 release date or window, gameplay footage, specific mechanics, platforms, or preorder details.

Why some videos may look like a reveal
A video titled as a Fallout 5 trailer appeared in search results, but its creator, GAME Studio, labels it a “Concept” video and describes it as a concept trailer. It is not official Bethesda footage or an announcement. Check the original publisher and the video’s description before treating a trailer-like clip as a real reveal.

Fallout 4 is an existing game, not a Fallout 5 announcement
Bethesda reports that Fallout 4 has sold over 35 million copies — Bethesda Game Studios, 2026. That figure refers to Fallout 4, not Fallout 5, and does not indicate a release timeline for the next game. Fallout 4 is an existing entry for readers who want to revisit the series while waiting; current editions and seller availability are not established here.
