Short answer: No cross-play or cross-save feature has been announced for Drova II: Torn Lands as of October 18, 2026. The safest description is unconfirmed, not “definitely unavailable.” Developer Just2D announced the sequel on October 15, 2026, while it was still in pre-alpha and gave no release date. The announcement confirms development for PC and consoles but says nothing about multiplayer, cross-play, cross-progression or cross-save.
What is confirmed about Drova II right now?
Drova II: Torn Lands is an unreleased sequel in active development. Just2D’s official October 15, 2026 announcement says the project is at the pre-alpha stage and is being developed for “PC and Consoles.” It does not commit to a launch date or describe online features.
Current SteamDB metadata records the game as a prerelease, single-player title from Just2D, published by Deck13. The listing shows Windows, macOS and Linux as supported PC platforms, along with Steam Cloud and “Save Anytime.” SteamDB still shows the release date as “To be announced.” No complete console list or feature-parity chart has been published.
| Item | What is currently stated | What is not stated |
|---|---|---|
| Development stage | Pre-alpha, in active development (Just2D announcement, October 15, 2026) | Feature-complete status or final specifications |
| Target hardware | PC and consoles; SteamDB lists Windows, macOS and Linux | Specific console models and whether every version will launch together |
| Game mode | SteamDB labels the prerelease listing single-player | Co-op, competitive multiplayer or any online mode |
| Cross-play | No announcement | Any supported platform pairing |
| Cross-save/cross-progression | No announcement; Steam Cloud appears in Steam metadata | Transfers between Steam, consoles or other storefronts |
| Release date | To be announced | Early-access, beta or retail launch timing |
Because the game is so early in development, the absence of a feature announcement should not be read as a permanent technical decision. Platform plans and online systems can change before launch.

Does Drova II support cross-play?
There is no official cross-play announcement. Cross-play means that players using different platforms can join the same multiplayer session—for example, a PC player joining someone on a console. It requires an online multiplayer mode in the first place, plus account, matchmaking, networking and certification work for each platform.
The available announcement does not say that Drova II has co-op, player-versus-player combat, shared worlds or any other multiplayer mode. SteamDB currently labels it single-player. Therefore, there is no confirmed player activity that could be shared between platforms, and no supported platform pair (such as Windows-to-console or macOS-to-Linux) has been documented.
This is a status report, not a claim that cross-play is impossible. A pre-alpha project can gain multiplayer or cross-platform support later, or the developers can decide to keep the finished game single-player. Until Just2D or publisher Deck13 publishes a feature statement, treat posts, store tags and community speculation as unconfirmed.

No cross-save or cross-progression system has been announced. Cross-save lets a player continue the same character or campaign on another platform. Cross-progression is the broader term often used when progress, unlocks, inventory or achievements follow an account across versions. Neither feature is described in the official announcement or the currently available platform information.

The SteamDB entry does list Steam Cloud. That normally means Steam can synchronize compatible save files between computers using the same Steam account. It does not establish that a save can move from Steam to PlayStation, Xbox, another PC storefront or a console edition. Cloud synchronization within one ecosystem and cross-platform progression are separate systems with different account and entitlement requirements.
“Save Anytime,” also shown in the Steam metadata, describes when the game allows local saving. It is not a transfer or backup promise, and it does not imply that a save created on one platform will be readable on another.
Is Drova II multiplayer?
The strongest current indication is single-player: SteamDB’s prerelease record uses that label, and the Just2D announcement does not mention online or local multiplayer. That is not a final design confirmation because the game is still pre-alpha. It is accurate to say that multiplayer has not been announced, rather than to state that the final release will never include it.

This distinction matters for cross-play questions. Cross-play is meaningful only if two or more players can connect to the same game mode. If Drova II remains a single-player role-playing game, cross-play would not apply; cross-save could still be offered, but it would require a separate account and synchronization service.

Which platforms are planned?
Just2D’s announcement uses the broad terms “PC and Consoles.” SteamDB gives more specific PC metadata: Windows, macOS and Linux. No source currently provides a complete console list, release sequence or statement that every platform will receive identical features.
| Platform category | Evidence available now | Cross-platform expectation |
|---|---|---|
| Windows PC | Listed in SteamDB metadata | No confirmed cross-play or cross-save connection |
| macOS | Listed in SteamDB metadata | Steam Cloud is listed; cross-platform progression is unconfirmed |
| Linux | Listed in SteamDB metadata | Steam Cloud is listed; cross-platform progression is unconfirmed |
| Consoles | “Consoles” stated by Just2D without a model list | No confirmed console-to-PC or console-to-console support |
A platform appearing in a prerelease database record is not a guarantee of simultaneous launch, final optimization or feature parity. The developer may narrow, expand or revise the list during production.
What this means for common player plans
Playing with a friend on another platform
Do not purchase Drova II on the assumption that a friend on another system will be able to join you. There is no announced multiplayer mode and no cross-play matrix. Wait for an official statement that identifies the game mode and the exact platform combinations supported.
Moving a Steam save to a console
There is no announced Steam-to-console transfer. Steam Cloud may keep a PC save synchronized among computers signed into the same Steam account, but it does not show that a console can authenticate to that cloud data or convert the file format. Assume that a console version would start separately unless Just2D or Deck13 explicitly documents account linking and transfer rules.

Switching between Windows, macOS and Linux
Those systems are all listed in Steam metadata, so Steam Cloud may be intended to synchronize saves inside the Steam ecosystem. The listing alone does not guarantee that every build will share identical save formats or that synchronization will work during development. Keep a local backup before testing prerelease builds, and do not treat cloud status as a promise of cross-progression to consoles.
Buying on more than one platform
No “buy once, play everywhere” policy has been announced. Even games with cross-save commonly require a separate purchase for each platform, while some exclude downloadable content or platform-specific entitlements from transfers. Drova II’s pricing, account system and entitlement rules have not been published, so there is no basis for assuming a shared license.

When development advances, look for a statement from Just2D or Deck13 that answers each of these points rather than relying on a generic “online features” label:
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Mode: Does the game actually include co-op, competitive multiplayer or another mode requiring simultaneous players?
- Platform pairs: Which exact combinations work—Windows with consoles, console-to-console, macOS with Linux, or another set?
- Account requirement: Is a separate developer account or platform linking step required?
- Save scope: Does synchronization cover the campaign, characters, settings, achievements, inventory and downloadable content, or only selected data?
- Purchase rule: Is one copy sufficient, or is a license needed on each platform?
- Technical limits: Are there region restrictions, version requirements, offline limitations, server dependencies or save-size limits?
- Timing: Do the features arrive at launch, in early access, or in a later update?
A proper feature matrix should distinguish cross-play (joining other players), cross-save (moving a save) and cross-progression (synchronizing broader account progress). These terms are sometimes used interchangeably in store descriptions even though they solve different problems.

Why the answer can change before release
Pre-alpha means core systems and production decisions are still being built and evaluated. Networking, account services and console certification can be added late, removed for scope, or limited to certain modes. Conversely, a single-player label can remain accurate even if the team later adds a separate online feature.
The release date is still “to be announced,” so there is no launch build whose feature list can be checked. The most reliable update will be a dated announcement or an updated official store description that names supported platforms and transfer behavior. Until then, the evidence supports only an unconfirmed status for both cross-play and cross-save.
Current verdict
As of October 18, 2026, Drova II: Torn Lands has no announced cross-play, cross-save or cross-progression. It is a prerelease, single-player listing in SteamDB, with Windows, macOS and Linux shown alongside Steam Cloud and “Save Anytime.” Those Steam features should be understood as Steam-ecosystem conveniences, not proof of console transfers. Just2D has confirmed a pre-alpha project for PC and consoles but has not announced multiplayer or a release date, so the final feature set remains subject to change.
