Yes. ARC Raiders supports crossplay between PlayStation, Xbox and PC, so players on those systems can play together. It also supports cross-progression through an Embark ID: the account that connects your supported platform accounts and keeps your game progress, purchases, cosmetics and friends associated with you.
The important limitation is account setup. You must use the same Embark ID on each platform, and Embark’s cross-progression FAQ explicitly names Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. ARC Raiders is also listed for the Epic Games Store and GeForce NOW, but the first-party cross-progression wording does not expressly include Epic Games Store or GeForce NOW.
What crossplay means in ARC Raiders
Crossplay lets people playing ARC Raiders on different hardware join the same social play experience. The official ARC Raiders site describes this as “seamless social play across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.” In practical terms, a player on PlayStation 5 can play with a friend on Xbox Series X|S or PC rather than being restricted to people using the same console family.
Crossplay is separate from cross-progression. Crossplay concerns who can play together; cross-progression concerns which account retains your progress when you change platforms. You can therefore think of the features as two linked but distinct benefits: the game brings players together across systems, while the Embark ID ties the player’s account data together.

Which platforms support ARC Raiders?
The official ARC Raiders platform listing names the following services and systems:

The crossplay statement uses the broader categories PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The platform list gives the concrete systems and storefronts above. Because the first-party sources do not provide a separate crossplay matrix for every storefront and cloud configuration, do not interpret the listing as proof that every account or purchase arrangement works identically on every service.
How ARC Raiders cross-progression works
Embark says an Embark ID is required to play ARC Raiders. That ID is the account layer above your individual platform accounts. When your platform accounts are connected to the same Embark ID, Embark says the ID keeps your progress, purchases, in-game cosmetics and friends tied to your account. It also enables cross-platform play with friends.

If you play on one of those platforms and later use another one of those three, signing in with the same Embark ID is the key condition for accessing the account-linked data.
This is commonly described as cross-save, but the useful question is not where a save file is stored locally. The useful question is whether each platform account is attached to the same Embark ID. A different Embark ID creates a different account relationship, even if the person using the account is the same.

Set up one Embark ID before switching platforms
Set up the account connection before you begin playing on a second system. The exact page labels can change, but the process follows the account-linking model described by Embark:
- Create or sign in to an Embark ID. You need this account to play ARC Raiders.
- Connect the platform account you intend to use. Depending on your setup, that can be a Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Epic account.
- Use the same Embark ID when adding another platform. Do not create a second Embark ID just because you are moving from a PC storefront to a console.
- Check the linked-account list before launching on the new device. Confirm that the intended platform account appears under the Embark ID you used on your original system.
- Start ARC Raiders on the second platform and sign in through that linked identity. For the explicitly supported cross-progression path, this means the same Embark ID across Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The one-account rule matters. Embark says one account per platform is allowed, including one each for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Epic Games. That means an Embark ID is not intended to collect multiple Steam accounts, multiple PlayStation Network accounts or multiple Xbox accounts of the same platform type.

Yes, the official cross-progression description specifically covers Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. To move from Steam to a console, keep the Steam account and the console account associated with the same Embark ID. Then use that identity when you play on the console.
The same principle works in the other direction. A player who starts on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S can use the same Embark ID when playing on Steam, provided the accounts are linked correctly.
Do not confuse account progression with storefront ownership. The first-party information confirms that progression, purchases and cosmetics are tied to the Embark ID, but it does not state that buying ARC Raiders on one storefront automatically grants a license on every other storefront. You may still need access to the game through the relevant platform or store. Check the purchase and edition requirements for your region and platform before assuming that one purchase covers another storefront.

What happens when you use Epic Games Store?
Epic Games Store is listed as an available ARC Raiders platform, and Embark allows one Epic account to be linked to an Embark ID. However, the Help Center wording supplied for cross-progression explicitly lists Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, not Epic Games Store.
That distinction is important. You can accurately say that Epic is an available platform and that an Epic account can be linked under the one-account-per-platform rule. You should not promise a specific Epic cross-progression path beyond what Embark expressly documents. If your plan involves moving progress between Epic and another platform, verify the current account behavior in Embark’s own account guidance before unlinking or purchasing anything.
Does GeForce NOW change the account rules?
GeForce NOW appears in the official ARC Raiders platform listing. A cloud session changes where the game is rendered, but the supplied first-party information does not provide a separate rule for how GeForce NOW handles progression or storefront entitlements.
Use the same Embark ID and the underlying supported platform identity associated with your game access. Treat cloud availability and cross-progression as separate questions: the listing establishes availability on GeForce NOW, while the explicit cross-progression statement names Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Protect your account before unlinking anything
Embark’s account-management guidance includes a serious warning: if all third-party game accounts are unlinked, the Embark ID is permanently deleted. The consequences include losing ARC Raiders progress, THE FINALS progress, and purchased or earned cosmetics associated with that Embark ID.

Before removing a connection, use this checklist:
- Open the Embark account-management area and identify every linked third-party account.
- Confirm which Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Epic account you actually intend to keep.
- Make sure at least one appropriate third-party account remains linked to the Embark ID.
- Do not unlink every account as a troubleshooting experiment.
- If you are changing platforms, link the replacement account to the existing Embark ID instead of deleting the old identity.
The warning applies even if your immediate concern is only ARC Raiders. The same Embark ID can hold progress and cosmetics for THE FINALS, so deleting the identity can affect both games.

A friend cannot join from another system
First confirm that both players are using the platform categories covered by the official crossplay statement: PlayStation, Xbox or PC. Then check that each person is using the intended Embark ID and that the platform account is linked to it. Crossplay depends on the account connection for playing with friends, not merely on owning the game on a compatible device.
Your progress is missing on the second platform
Stop before creating a new account or unlinking anything. Verify that the second platform account is attached to the exact Embark ID used on the first platform. For the documented cross-progression path, check the Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S links specifically. A different Embark ID will not expose the first account’s progression.
You have more than one account on the same platform
Embark’s rule allows one account per platform on an Embark ID. Decide which Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Epic account is the intended one before making changes. Do not assume that two accounts of the same platform type can be merged simply because they belong to the same person.

You are considering a complete unlink
Do not proceed casually. Removing every third-party game account permanently deletes the Embark ID and its associated ARC Raiders and THE FINALS data. Preserve the existing identity by keeping an account linked and adding the replacement platform to that identity where supported.

You are unsure whether a purchase carries over
Separate the account-data question from the license question. Embark says purchases are tied to the Embark ID, but the cited information does not say that one storefront purchase grants ownership on every other storefront. Confirm the platform’s own purchase requirement before switching.
Practical examples
PlayStation 5 player joining a PC friend
The PlayStation player and the PC player can use ARC Raiders’ crossplay capability. Each should use the appropriate platform account linked to an Embark ID, then use that identity for the game’s social features. If the PC player is on Steam, Steam is also explicitly covered by the cross-progression documentation.
Steam player buying an Xbox Series X|S
Keep the original Embark ID, link the Xbox account to it, and use that same identity on the Xbox. Steam and Xbox Series X|S are both explicitly named in the cross-progression description, so this is a documented platform transition.
Xbox player trying a cloud session
GeForce NOW is listed as an available service, but its listing alone does not establish a new cross-progression category. Keep the Embark ID and platform-account relationships intact, and verify the cloud session’s underlying game access separately.
