No—do not assume a case shaped for the reMarkable Paper Pure will fit another reMarkable tablet. reMarkable assigns its folios by model because the tablets have different dimensions. The Paper Pure Sleeve Folio is formed for Paper Pure, while Paper Pro, Paper Pro Move and reMarkable 2 have their own folios. A loose, generously sized sleeve is a different situation, but a close-fitting book folio, shell or frame should be treated as model-specific.
Why a Paper Pure case is model-specific
A shaped case has to hold the tablet in a precise position. Its internal outline, corners, spine, magnets, clips and openings are made around one device’s length, width and thickness. Even a small difference can leave a tablet loose, prevent the cover from closing, or place a button, charging port or pen holder out of alignment.
reMarkable’s own comparison information lists the Paper Pure at 228.1 × 187.1 × 6.0 mm and the Paper Pro Move at 195.6 × 107.8 × 6.5 mm. Those measurements show that the two devices have substantially different proportions as well as different thicknesses. Paper Pure is identified as having a 10.3-inch monochrome display. The figures are tablet dimensions, not measurements of any particular case.
| Tablet | Manufacturer-listed dimensions |
|---|---|
| reMarkable Paper Pure | 228.1 × 187.1 × 6.0 mm |
| reMarkable Paper Pro Move | 195.6 × 107.8 × 6.5 mm |
Because the bodies are different shapes and sizes, a Paper Pure folio is not a cross-model accessory. The same principle applies in the opposite direction: a folio designed for Paper Pro Move is not expected to fit Paper Pro or reMarkable 2.

What reMarkable says about compatibility
The official Paper Pure Sleeve Folio FAQ says the sleeve is formed to the shape of Paper Pure and explains that Paper Pro, Paper Pro Move and reMarkable 2 have their own folios because the tablets have different dimensions. That is a direct model-compatibility statement, not merely a suggestion based on product names.
reMarkable gives the same answer for its Paper Pro Move Book Folio. Its FAQ says: “Unfortunately not. Our paper tablets all have different dimensions, so folios designed for reMarkable Paper Pro Move won’t work with reMarkable Paper Pro or reMarkable 2.” The statement is specifically about folios, the rigid or close-fitting book-style accessories that secure a tablet in a molded or shaped interior.
Therefore, if a product listing says only “reMarkable case” or names a different model, regard it as unconfirmed. The safest interpretation of reMarkable’s guidance is that each tablet needs the folio made for that tablet.

Shaped cases and book folios
A shell case, snap-on cover, magnetic book folio or frame with retaining corners is designed around fixed dimensions. These products need the tablet to sit in a particular location, so model compatibility is essential. A Paper Pure accessory in this category should explicitly identify Paper Pure.

Do not infer compatibility from screen size. A “10.3-inch” label describes a display class, not the outside dimensions, corner geometry or thickness of the tablet. Two products with a similarly sized display can have very different bodies. The Paper Pure dimensions and Paper Pro Move dimensions illustrate why a screen-size match is not enough.
Loose or universal sleeves
A soft pouch with extra room may accept more than one device, but reMarkable’s official compatibility statements do not test every universal sleeve. Fit is a separate, case-by-case question that depends on the sleeve’s internal length, width, thickness, closure and padding.
For a loose sleeve, compare the manufacturer’s internal measurements with the tablet’s dimensions, rather than relying on a product title. Leave enough room for the device to enter without force, but not so much that it can slide and strike the sides. A sleeve that fits the body may still be unsuitable if its zipper, seam or closure can contact the display.

For Paper Pro, Paper Pro Move or reMarkable 2
Use the folio named for that exact tablet model. Do not substitute a Paper Pure folio simply because the listing mentions a similar display size or because the accessory appears visually similar in photographs. reMarkable’s FAQs identify separate folios for these models.
For a generic pouch
A universal sleeve can be considered only after checking its internal dimensions and closure design. Treat it as a fit decision, not as evidence that model-specific folios are interchangeable.
How to check a third-party listing before you order
- Read the compatibility line. Look for “reMarkable Paper Pure,” not just “reMarkable,” “10.3-inch tablet” or a list containing several unrelated models.
- Confirm the accessory type. Decide whether it is a shaped folio, shell, frame or a loose sleeve. A universal sleeve requires an internal-measurement check; a shaped folio requires an exact model match.
- Compare dimensions. Use the tablet’s 228.1 × 187.1 × 6.0 mm dimensions as the reference for Paper Pure. Do not treat those numbers as the case’s measurements.
- Check the retention method. Review whether the tablet is held by a molded tray, corner clips, elastic, magnets or a friction fit. A retention system intended for another body shape can be insecure even if the tablet can be inserted.
- Inspect openings and moving parts. Product photos and specifications should show that charging access, the cover hinge and any pen storage are positioned for Paper Pure. If the listing does not identify these details, compatibility remains unverified.
- Read the return terms. A return option is useful protection when a listing uses vague model language or when dimensions are incomplete.
Third-party Paper Pure listings: what is actually established
A community discussion points to third-party listings from TiMOVO and MoKo labeled for a 10.3-inch Paper Pure case. One participant says their TiMOVO case holds a Paper Pure. This is anecdotal information from a community post, not an independent fit test, and listing availability or specifications can change.

If you consider one of those listings, verify the current product title, the exact Paper Pure wording, internal dimensions and return policy at the time of purchase. Do not assume that a similarly named case, a revised listing or a product shown for another reMarkable model has the same fit. The community report is useful as a lead, but it does not establish compatibility for every production batch or variant.

What can happen when the model is wrong?
- The tablet moves inside the case. Excess space can let the device slide, especially when the cover is carried vertically.
- The cover does not close correctly. A different thickness or corner position can prevent magnets, elastic or clasps from engaging.
- Edges or corners remain exposed. A folio made for a smaller or differently proportioned tablet may leave parts of the Paper Pure outside the intended protective area.
- Access points are misplaced. A shell designed around another body can obstruct charging or put pressure on an edge.
- The accessory is difficult to insert or remove. Forcing a tablet into a tight case can stress the case or the tablet and is a sign that the fit is not correct.
These are practical reasons to follow the manufacturer’s model-by-model approach; they are not evidence that every case sold under a generic label will fail. The decisive question is whether the accessory was designed and specified for Paper Pure.

If it is a shaped folio or shell
Do not force the Paper Pure into it. Check the packaging and listing for the intended model, photograph the fit problem and use the seller’s return or exchange process. Request the Paper Pure version rather than accepting a case labeled only for another reMarkable tablet.
If it is a soft universal sleeve
Measure the sleeve’s internal cavity and compare it with the Paper Pure’s dimensions. Check whether the closure, seams or padding touch the display or corners. If the sleeve leaves substantial movement or closes under pressure, return it instead of relying on the word “universal.”

Bottom line for shoppers
A reMarkable Paper Pure case should be treated as Paper Pure-only unless it is a genuinely loose sleeve whose internal measurements you have checked. reMarkable says its tablets have different dimensions and gives each model its own folios. For a close-fitting accessory, buy one whose listing explicitly names Paper Pure; for a generic pouch, verify internal dimensions and closure clearance instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will a reMarkable Paper Pure folio fit reMarkable 2?
No. reMarkable says its tablets have different dimensions and assigns separate folios by model, so a Paper Pure folio should not be expected to fit reMarkable 2.
Is a 10.3-inch reMarkable case automatically compatible with Paper Pure?
No. Screen size alone does not establish external length, width, thickness or corner geometry. The listing should explicitly name Paper Pure, or provide internal sleeve measurements you can verify.
Can I use a universal sleeve for Paper Pure?
Possibly, but official folio compatibility statements do not test every universal sleeve. Compare the sleeve’s internal dimensions and check that its closure and seams do not press on the tablet.
Are TiMOVO and MoKo Paper Pure cases confirmed to fit?
Community members have identified listings labeled for Paper Pure, and one user reports that a TiMOVO case holds their Paper Pure. That is anecdotal evidence, not independent testing; verify current specifications and return terms before buying.
