Divoom Astrotoo is a desktop speaker with a built-in display and physical controls—not just a conventional speaker. Divoom lists 20W output, a 3.95-inch square screen, and support for pixel art, clocks, music visuals, and personalized content. Its official product copy calls the controls “physical keys and a joystick”; it does not establish that the keys are mechanical keyboard switches.
What Astrotoo is—and what it is not
Astrotoo combines audio playback with a customizable desk display. You can use its screen for pixel art, clock faces, music visuals, and other personalized content, with customization through the Divoom App. Physical keys and a joystick provide another way to switch among music, visuals, and functions.
The available product information does not describe Astrotoo as a game console or establish that its keys use mechanical keyboard switches. “Mechanical keys” would therefore overstate what is known: the manufacturer describes them as physical keys, and the Japanese launch announcement calls them physical buttons.

Divoom’s product page displayed US$199.99 when retrieved on October 12, 2026. Real Sound Tech reported a Japanese announced retail price of ¥24,310 including tax on September 30, 2026. These are separate market-specific figures, not directly comparable prices; check the current local price, stock, and color options before buying.

The September 28, 2026 Japanese announcement planned a late-October 2026 release in Japan and listed white, pink, and green. That announcement does not establish current availability in other countries or whether the planned timing and colors remain in effect.
Who might find Astrotoo useful?
Astrotoo is aimed at someone who wants a desk speaker to double as a small visual display. Its screen and app-based customization make it relevant if pixel art, a clock, or music-reactive visuals matter alongside audio. The tactile controls may also appeal if you prefer physical inputs to operating everything through a screen.

The stated output, connectivity, runtime, and dimensions help define the device, but they do not establish sound quality, listening distance, actual battery performance, or ease of use. Those would require independent testing. Compare those needs with the listed specifications and confirm the current local price before deciding.
