Discord Orbs are rewards for Discord activities, but the official documentation does not currently confirm that you can spend them on Marvel Rivals items. Discord’s documented Marvel Rivals promotions ran in September 2026 and have ended. You can still check your Discord Shop for offers available to your account; do not assume an old promotion or Orb-payment option is active.
Discord Orbs and the Marvel Rivals Game Shop are different
Discord Orbs are a promotional rewards currency. Discord says users earn them through Quests and other eligible Discord activities, then redeem them in the general Shop for Nitro credits, items from the main collections, and other perks. Discord’s Paid Services Terms say Orbs cannot be purchased with cash or other real-world currency, and Discord may limit how many users receive.

The Marvel Rivals Game Shop is a separate experience for buying or claiming game items. Discord’s current Game Shops FAQ explains how Marvel Rivals items are delivered, but it does not establish that Orbs can currently pay for them. Check the offer displayed in your own Discord account before expecting to use Orbs for a skin or other item.

How to earn Discord Orbs
Complete eligible Quests
Quests are Discord’s primary way to earn Orbs. Each eligible Quest describes the required action and the reward, so check its terms in Discord before starting. The Orbs FAQ also describes an eligible Nitro subscriber multiplier: qualifying Quest rewards receive a 1.2× multiplier for Quests starting May 8, 2026. Nitro Basic and Nitro paid through Nitro Credits are excluded from this stated perk. Confirm your account and subscription eligibility in Discord’s Discord Orbs FAQ.

Look for Orb Challenges
Orb Challenges reward Orbs for specified actions on Discord. Discord describes the feature as an experiment on desktop and browser, not a broadly available feature. Challenges may differ by account, change over time, or be limited to a one-time or time-limited offer; not seeing one does not necessarily mean something is wrong with your account.
Check whether a Nitro monthly reward applies
Discord’s FAQ says eligible Nitro subscribers receive 250 Orbs monthly while maintaining their subscription. The FAQ contains eligibility qualifications, so this should not be read as a benefit of every Nitro plan or subscription route. Nitro is not required to earn Orbs through every Quest, and these terms do not make Nitro a current requirement for a Marvel Rivals offer.

Can you use Orbs for Marvel Rivals skins?
The current official documentation reviewed here does not confirm that Orbs can be spent on Marvel Rivals Game Shop items. Discord’s general Orbs FAQ lists redemption categories, while its Game Shops FAQ explains Marvel Rivals items and past promotions; neither establishes a present Orb-payment option for Marvel Rivals. If an Orb option appears in your account’s live offer, review its item, eligibility, and redemption terms there. Otherwise, treat the two Shop experiences as separate.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

- Open the Game Shop. Find it in Discord’s Shop tab or in a game’s official server. Discord says the full Game Shop experience is available on desktop and browser; mobile may show embeds or listings.
- Choose the item and review its details. Check the listed platform, eligibility, and claim instructions before proceeding.
- Link the correct game account if prompted. Discord prompts you to link an account if one is not already connected, then delivers the item to that linked in-game account.
- Claim it in the supported game account. The FAQ lists Marvel Rivals redemption on PC desktop platforms—Steam, Epic, and Loading Bay—and Xbox. It does not list PlayStation as a platform that can receive these items.
If the item does not appear
- Restart Marvel Rivals and check again.
- Confirm Discord is linked to the game account you intended to use.
- Disconnect and reconnect the Discord connection.
- If a PlayStation account cannot receive the item, Discord says it may offer a refund if the buyer or gift recipient attempted to claim within 14 days. This is a possible refund path, not a guarantee.
For the precise platform and claim terms associated with an item, use its listing and Discord’s current Game Shops FAQ.
