Features, size and controls
The manual lists Wi-Fi control through the Glen Dimplex Connect app, a remote, two fan speeds and a 0–24 hour timer. It specifies noise of no more than 65 dB(A), a net weight of 21.5 kg and dimensions of 285 × 335 × 698 mm (W × D × H). The noise figure is the manufacturer’s stated specification; it is not the same as an independent noise-test result.

Installation and drainage
Exhaust hose and window fit
Like other single-hose portable units, the DCP26EB needs its exhaust routed to a nearby window. The manual’s installation sequence is to fit the housing adapter and window connector to the hose, secure the adapter at the back of the appliance, then place the other end at a nearby windowsill. A retailer describes an included kit for sliding windows, but that does not establish a fit for every window type. Check the included parts against your window before relying on the kit.
Condensation and a full tank
The unit has a self-evaporative system, but that does not mean it never needs draining. Dimplex says excess condensation can require drainage in high humidity. If the internal tank fills, the appliance switches off; follow the manual’s drainage instructions before restarting it.
