The Dimensity 7060 has the higher listed peak clock for its two Cortex-A78 performance cores: 2.6GHz, compared with 2.2GHz on the Dimensity 930. Both are reported with six Cortex-A55 cores and IMG BXM-8-256 graphics. Available benchmark figures do not establish a clear overall winner: they come from different sources, devices, and test versions rather than a controlled head-to-head comparison.
Dimensity 930 vs 7060 specifications
The core layouts are similar, but the 7060’s listed performance-core clock is higher. Many of the other specifications describe platform capabilities; a phone maker’s implementation determines which memory, storage, display, camera, and network features a particular handset actually uses.
| Specification | Dimensity 930 | Dimensity 7060 |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 2× Cortex-A78 up to 2.2GHz; 6× Cortex-A55 up to 2.0GHz (MediaTek, 2022) | 2× Cortex-A78 up to 2.6GHz; 6× Cortex-A55 up to 2.0GHz (Notebookcheck) |
| Graphics | IMG BXM-8-256 (MediaTek, 2022) | IMG BXM-8-256 (Notebookcheck and Beebom); TopCPU lists conflicting GPU details |
| Manufacturing process | TSMC N6, 6nm-class (MediaTek, 2022) | 6nm (Notebookcheck) |
| Memory and storage support | LPDDR5 or LPDDR4X; UFS 3.1 (MediaTek, 2022) | LPDDR4X or LPDDR5; UFS 3.1 (Notebookcheck) |
| Display and media capabilities | Up to 120Hz Full HD+ and HDR10+; support for cameras up to 108MP (MediaTek, 2022) | Up to 120Hz at 2520×1080 (Notebookcheck); support for sensors up to 200MP and 4K/30 capture (Beebom) |
| Connectivity | Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G 2CC carrier aggregation, dual 5G SIM, and dual VoNR (MediaTek, 2022) | Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-SIM 5G, and up to 2.77Gbps download (Notebookcheck) |
These are reported chipset capabilities, not guarantees about every phone. The handset maker chooses the memory and storage configuration, and network performance depends on the phone’s supported bands, carrier, and local conditions. Camera resolution support also does not predict image quality by itself.

What the higher CPU clock means
The 7060’s A78 cores have a higher listed peak frequency than the 930’s, while both chips are reported with the same six A55 cores, each clocked up to 2.0GHz. That gives the 7060 a specification advantage on the performance-core clock, but clock speed alone cannot show how quickly a phone will complete a task. Cooling, power limits, software, memory configuration, and the phone’s design also affect performance.

What the benchmarks show—and what they do not
AnTuTu 10 figures
TopCPU lists AnTuTu 10 scores of 465,671 for the Dimensity 930 and 475,940 for the 7060, a small difference of about 2% in that database’s figures. This is not a controlled test of both chips in otherwise identical phones, so it should not be treated as a reliable prediction of the difference between two handsets.
Device-specific Dimensity 7060 results
Beebom reports testing the 7060 in a Lava Blaze AMOLED 2. Its results are 727,597 in AnTuTu V11; 1,056 single-core and 2,511 multi-core in Geekbench 6; and 920 single-core and 2,360 multi-core in Geekbench 7. Because the Dimensity 930 was not tested alongside it under the same conditions, these figures describe that phone’s results rather than a direct chip-to-chip ranking.

- Carrier: This phone is locked to Tracfone, which means this device can only be used on the Tracfone wireless network. Tracfone plan required, activating is easy, just 3 steps.
- DISPLAY: Immersive viewing on a 6.7-inch super-bright 120Hz display with powerful stereo speakers and Bass Boost for cinematic entertainment.
- CAMERA SYSTEM: Advanced 50MP Quad Pixel camera captures sharp, detailed photos and videos in any lighting condition
- PERFORMANCE: Lightning-fast 5G connectivity paired with a powerful processor and RAM Boost for smooth multitasking.
- BATTERY LIFE: Long-lasting 5000mAh battery with TurboPower charging technology delivers hours of power in minutes.
In Beebom’s 15-minute CPU throttling test, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 retained 66% of its maximum performance. That is a result for one handset and test, not an inherent limit for every Dimensity 7060 phone; cooling and other device-specific factors may affect sustained performance.

Notebookcheck lists 3,660 points for the Dimensity 7060 in 3DMark Sling Shot Extreme Unlimited Physics and associates the result with a Motorola Moto G56 entry. The score is useful as a device-specific data point, not a matched comparison with the 930.

TopCPU calculates graphics throughput at 0.2592 TFLOPS for the 930 and 0.2432 TFLOPS for the 7060, slightly favoring the 930 in that calculation. However, TopCPU’s detailed 7060 GPU listing conflicts with Notebookcheck and Beebom, which identify the IMG BXM-8-256. Treat the calculated graphics figures and GPU-specific details cautiously rather than using them to declare a graphics winner.
Benchmark scores depend on the benchmark version, handset, software, memory, settings, and thermal behavior. In particular, AnTuTu V11 results should not be directly compared with AnTuTu 10 scores, and Geekbench 6 results should not be conflated with Geekbench 7 results.

Which chipset should you choose?
The specifications give the Dimensity 7060 the higher listed A78 clock, while the available benchmark evidence is mixed and not based on matched devices. For a phone purchase, compare the complete handsets rather than choosing by chipset name alone.
