There is no reliable benchmark winner established between the Dimensity 7200 Pro and Dimensity 7300X: the available figures are not from phones tested under matching conditions. The clearest documented differences are their CPU layouts and intended device positioning. Nothing identifies the Phone (2a) as using the 7200 Pro, while MediaTek positions the 7300X for flip-style foldables and dual displays.
Specifications at a glance
| Specification | Dimensity 7200 Pro context | Dimensity 7300X |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | MediaTek’s base Dimensity 7200 specification lists 2 Arm Cortex-A715 cores up to 2.8 GHz and 6 Cortex-A510 cores. Nothing identifies the Phone (2a) as using the 7200 Pro. | 4 Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.5 GHz and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. |
| Manufacturing process | MediaTek describes the base Dimensity 7200 as using TSMC’s second-generation 4 nm process. | MediaTek describes a 4 nm-class process. |
| Graphics | Arm Mali-G610, according to the base Dimensity 7200 page. | Arm Mali-G615. |
| Other listed platform features | The base Dimensity 7200 page lists 5G and Wi-Fi 6E among its capabilities. | MediaTek lists NPU 655, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, LPDDR4x/LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1. |
| Design positioning | Nothing’s Phone (2a) is an example of a device using the 7200 Pro. | MediaTek says the 7300X is designed for flip-style foldables and supports dual displays. |
These are platform specifications, not guarantees that every handset enables every listed feature. A phone maker’s memory, storage, connectivity choices, cooling design and software can shape the experience.

Why the CPU specifications do not settle which is faster
The chips use different core configurations: the base 7200 has two newer-generation Cortex-A715 performance cores and six Cortex-A510 efficiency cores, while the 7300X has four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. Their stated peak clocks differ too. Core names, counts and clock speeds alone do not establish which chip will perform better in a particular phone: they are not results from a common benchmark or a measure of sustained performance.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread

Cooling, power limits, resolution and graphics settings all matter. The 4 nm process descriptions are similar in broad class, but that wording does not prove equal efficiency in finished devices.
#1 Best Overall
- T-MOBILE NETWORK SUPPORT | For U.S. use, AGM G3 android phone is designed for compatible T-Mobile service only, with 4G LTE and 5G where available. Dual Nano SIM and Dual Standby add flexibility for work and personal lines, while dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and multi-satellite GPS support calls, uploads, navigation and everyday connectivity
- FAST PERFORMANCE, SERIOUS STORAGE | The 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 delivers responsive apps, smooth multitasking and efficient everyday use. 12GB physical RAM plus up to 12GB memory expansion supports heavier workloads, while 512GB built-in storage and up to 1TB expansion leave room for apps, photos, offline maps and work files. The 6.72-inch FHD+ 120Hz display keeps scrolling fluid
- 10000MAH POWER, FLEXIBLE CHARGING | Built for long shifts, road trips, navigation and outdoor days, the 10000mAh battery gives G3 serious staying power without pushing the phone into extreme-battery bulk. At about 375g, it balances endurance with everyday carry. Recharge with 33W USB-C PD or use 18W wireless charging for convenient cable-free top-ups
- RUGGED STRENGTH FOR REAL-WORLD USE | IP68/IP69K protection and MIL-STD-810H durability help G3 handle rain, dust, mud, splashes, drops and demanding jobsite conditions. A -20°C to 60°C operating range adds confidence across changing environments, while the 116dB speaker and built-in camping light help with alerts, navigation, roadside stops and night tasks
- CLEAR CAMERAS, SMART EVERYDAY TOOLS | Capture work records and daily moments with a 64MP Sony main camera, 2MP macro lens and 50MP front camera. Dual MEMS microphones with DSP noise reduction help keep calls clearer in busy surroundings, while OTG, FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack add practical flexibility for commuting, field work, travel and downtime
What the available benchmark evidence shows
Nothing’s comparison page lists an AnTuTu v10 score of 741,999 for the Phone (2a), a handset using the Dimensity 7200 Pro. Nothing does not display a publication date for that result on the page. It is a manufacturer-published phone score, not an isolated chipset score or a controlled comparison with a 7300X device.
No 7300X phone score under the same benchmark version and matching test conditions is established here, so the 741,999 figure cannot support a direct ranking. Nothing’s page also lists 805,721 for the Phone (2a) Plus, but that phone uses the Dimensity 7350 Pro—not the 7300X—so it is not a valid comparison point.

MediaTek describes the 7300X as designed for flip-style foldables and says it supports dual displays. That is a platform design focus, not proof that every phone with this chip is a foldable. The 7200 Pro’s documented device context here is Nothing’s Phone (2a), and MediaTek says the 7200 Pro was co-engineered with Nothing for software and hardware integration and power consumption.
For detailed specifications, MediaTek’s official page covers the base Dimensity 7200, not every implementation of the 7200 Pro. Its separate Dimensity 7300X page provides the 7300X platform details. Treat base-7200 specifications as context rather than assuming every detail is confirmed for every 7200 Pro phone.
How to compare phones using these chips
If you are choosing between two handsets, compare the phones rather than relying on the chip names. Look for tests that identify the exact device, software and benchmark version, and use the same test conditions for both phones.
- For general performance, compare same-version CPU and GPU benchmark results from the actual phones.
- For gaming, look for sustained performance, temperatures and frame rates over time—not only a short peak score.
- Check battery life, software support, price and regional availability for the specific models you can buy.
- Confirm which platform features the handset maker actually enabled; a chipset’s capability list does not guarantee a feature appears in the phone.
A useful comparison should state the benchmark build, firmware conditions, performance mode, ambient conditions and repeat protocol. Without those details and a 7300X device tested alongside a 7200 Pro device, the available score is not enough to choose a performance winner.
