The integration linked test results with COMMANDqc so quality-control staff could access them without entering the same information twice. James M. Shilstone, Jr., Product Owner for COMMANDqc, said: “Sharing data between the two programs eliminates the need for double entry and makes the test results available to the QC manager more quickly.” Forney’s Vice President of Platform Development, Scott Grumski, described the change as allowing “Titan’s quality control technician to lose the clipboard and pencil.” These are statements from the companies involved, not independently measured performance results. Forney also reported that, at the time of its announcement, labs in more than 109 locations across five countries had logged over 1,000,000 tests with ForneyVault. That company-reported total concerns ForneyVault generally; it is not a Titan Virginia usage figure.
