There is no verified evidence that the Huawei Pura X View sold 449,800 units in China in about a month. The available reports cite more than 180,000 first-day sales and about 282,000 first-week activations, but neither confirms the 449,800 figure or makes it an official Huawei sales total.
What is known about Huawei Pura X View sales?
The available figures describe different measures and time periods, and both rely on unofficial attribution:
- More than 180,000 first-day sales: Xinhua reported on September 10, 2026, that the Pura X View sold more than 180,000 units on its September 9 launch day. Xinhua attributed the figure to an unnamed informed source, not to a Huawei disclosure. Xinhua’s report
- About 282,000 first-week activations: IT Home reported on September 18 that a Weibo blogger, 数码闲聊站, estimated about 282,000 activations. The article did not provide the underlying dataset. These are not directly comparable figures, and they should not be added together. Neither establishes a cumulative total of 449,800 sales over roughly a month.
Is 449,800 an official Huawei figure?
No source reviewed substantiates 449,800 or identifies what the number measures. Huawei’s official China notice confirms the sale date, while its product pages describe the phone and its specifications; those materials do not verify the claimed sales total. Search results for the exact figure did not identify relevant supporting evidence.

Huawei describes the Pura X View as a non-folding, wide-screen smartphone with a 16:9.5 display, HarmonyOS 7 and its XMAGE imaging system.
