The original Denon Home 150, 250, and 350 are Wi-Fi speakers for different room sizes and budgets. Siri control works through AirPlay 2; Siri is not built into the speakers. Denon describes Alexa as built in on the Home 250 and 350. The 150 is the compact mono model, the 250 adds a stereo layout, and the larger 350 has the most extensive driver configuration.

How the Denon Home 150, 250, and 350 compare

Denon’s U.S. product comparison listed the following prices when accessed on October 7, 2026. Prices and availability can change. The driver counts and layouts below are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements.

Model Configuration Manufacturer-listed drivers U.S. price per speaker Best fit
Denon Home 150 Mono Two drivers $249 Compact rooms or a smaller footprint
Denon Home 250 Stereo Two ¾-inch tweeters, two 4-inch mid-bass drivers, and a 5¼-inch passive radiator $549 Buyers seeking a middle ground between size and output
Denon Home 350 Stereo Two ¾-inch tweeters, two 2-inch mid-bass drivers, and two 6½-inch woofers $749 Larger rooms and buyers prioritizing a bigger speaker

The 150’s smaller, mono design is the straightforward choice when space and cost matter most. The 250 is stereo and has a more detailed published driver specification. The 350 is the largest model and uses two dedicated 6½-inch woofers. Those configurations indicate how the models differ, but do not substitute for listening in your room.

Which Denon Home speaker sounds best for your needs?

Home 150: compact and simplest

The 150 is the family’s compact mono option. Its lower listed price makes it the most accessible way into the original Denon Home range, and it can also serve as a companion speaker in a compatible multi-room setup. Its two-driver, mono configuration is a different proposition from the stereo 250 and 350.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Home 250: the middle option

The 250 combines stereo playback with a four-driver arrangement and passive radiator. What Hi-Fi? called it the “Goldilocks player of the three” in its comparative listening review; that is the publication’s subjective assessment, not a universal result. Its price and size sit between the 150 and 350, making it a sensible model to consider if you want stereo without moving to the largest speaker.

Home 350: largest, not portable

The 350 has the largest cabinet in this range and the most extensive listed driver configuration. Tom’s Guide describes it as mains-powered and non-portable, and reports pairing it with a Home 150 in its own review. Choose it for a stationary home setup rather than a speaker you intend to carry around.

Does Denon Home work with Siri?

Yes, through AirPlay 2. Denon says compatible AirPlay 2 features can be controlled with Siri, so this is Siri compatibility rather than a Siri assistant built into the speaker. Denon’s Home 250 and 350 pages describe Alexa as built in. What Hi-Fi? also describes the original models as addressable through Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri via AirPlay 2; the available controls and setup depend on configuration and feature availability.

Denon’s Home 250 and Home 350 product pages state: “Voice features are only enabled on user request. Mics can be disabled any time.” That wording is shown on those two model pages; check the documentation for the specific model you are considering.

What connectivity and multi-room features do they offer?

Denon lists Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AirPlay 2 among the family’s connectivity features. For multi-room playback, HEOS is the Denon app-based path: Denon says it can play the same audio in every room or different content in connected rooms.

Crutchfield reviewer Kramer Crane’s June 30, 2026 hands-on article describes using HEOS Built-in to connect compatible Denon and Marantz receivers, wireless speakers, and sound bars over Wi-Fi, including setting up wireless surround. That is the reviewer’s reported experience, not a test of this article.

These are model-specific specifications; streaming-service availability varies by model and region. Denon positions the Home Sound Bar 550 and Home Subwoofer as possible wireless home-theater additions, not requirements for ordinary music playback. Confirm compatibility with your setup before adding components.

How to choose between the three

  • Choose the Home 150 if a compact mono speaker and the lowest listed price are your priorities.
  • Choose the Home 250 if you want a stereo model at a middle price and size. What Hi-Fi?’s listening review favored it as the balanced pick among the three.
  • Choose the Home 350 if you want the largest model and its two 6½-inch woofers, and you plan to keep it in a fixed location near power.
  • For more than one room, consider whether HEOS fits your existing equipment and whether you want the same or different audio in connected rooms.

Denon introduced a newer Home 200/400/600 range, but those are separate models. What Hi-Fi?’s 2026 coverage says HEOS lets the newer speakers connect with the original 150, 250, and 350; do not assume that newer-model specifications apply to the original family.
