Does it need a window hose?
Yes. As a portable air conditioner, it needs to exhaust warm air outdoors through a hose. A regional De’Longhi listing specifies a 1,200 mm venting hose, but that does not confirm that every regional package has the same hose or that a particular replacement hose or window kit fits this model. A useful independent evaluation would identify the room dimensions and conditions, record indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, measure time to reach a set temperature, and report sound level with distance and operating mode. It would also document power draw under load, condensate handling, window sealing, and ease of moving and storing the unit.
