Six progressive browning settings

Extra lift raises the carriage farther than its normal resting position, making small pieces easier to grasp without putting fingers down into a hot slot. Electrical compatibility: check this before buying
The most important purchase check is the rating on the exact regional unit. De’Longhi Australia lists CTY2003.G at 220–240 V and 50–60 Hz with 900 W input. Those values suit many Australian outlets, but they should not be assumed for every country or variant carrying the same model family name.

- Confirm the plug type and earthing arrangement are appropriate for your outlet. A plug adapter does not convert voltage.
- Check that the seller is offering the grey CTY2003.G, not a similarly named Eclettica or another De’Longhi toaster.
- If you are importing the appliance, verify warranty coverage, returns and electrical certification for your country before paying.
Do not connect a 220–240 V appliance to a 100–120 V supply and expect normal operation. Keep the slots dry and clear
Do not pour water or cleaning fluid into the slots. Shake out loose crumbs only as the manual permits, and never insert a knife, fork or other metal tool to retrieve bread.
